I was very disappointed!!..After reading reviews and decided to buy it..i have got very thin hair and i was looking for something that gives me volume but doesn't leave my hair all heavy and this shampoo did exactly that doesnt smell nice and my hair felt harsh on touch after a wash and very heavy after drying had to rewash it after with my other shampoo

I loved the shampoo and conditioner samples that came with the coloring system. It foamed up well, smelled nice and rinsed out with ease. Thinking the Volumizing shampoo and conditioner would be similar I thought I’d give it a try.
A bit disappointing as there was really no odor and it did not foam up as well. Also i didn’t notice any difference with the volume after using it for two weeks. Glad I tried it but not so happy

Even with my window open: and my house is old, the window is largte and in the shower: the smell is soo overpowering I think I could pass out. It just smells like a whole bottle of fragrance/ chemically. Also, my scalp itches after using this: probably from how much fragrance they use. And I do not notice any volume.

Okay mehr aber auch nicht. Ich habe sehr feine Haare, aber merke nicht unbedingt mehr Volumen durch das Shampoo. Also werde ich mir nicht wieder nachkaufen. Der Geruch ist allerdings ganz schön und die Kämmbarkeit ist auch gut. Aber ich hatte schon bessere Shampoos zum günstigen Preis.

I tried your suggestion to wash my scalp with big love shampoo and the rest of my hair strength shampoo . I really don’t see any difference in volume I think once I use the rich conditioner it tames my curl too much . You need a shampoo just for wavy curly hair

I even used a product on it for styling and it is still as i described. I would give it a zero if it was an option. There is nothing about it that is as advertised. This shampoo does not make my hair feel soft and silky. Hair remains feeling dry and tangled even after using conditioner. It does not create the usual sudsy sensation other shampoos do. I was expecting shampoo like those in sample packets with color but its not the same. I used it one time. I wish I could return it! I will never reorder any shampoo here.

Das shampoo verleicht etwas Volumen aber zu wenig Pflege, meine Haare fühlen sich sehr trocken schon während des waschens an. Schade ich hatte etwas mehr Pflege für das Geld erwartet :(
Die Spülüng ist leider nicht wirklich pflegend und meine Haare fühlen sich nicht weich an. Da ist die Pflegespülüng aus der Drogerie doch viel besser. Schade um das Geld :(

It seems that the Volumizing products are not as moisturizing as I remember. I also really liked the pump lid which was convenient in the shower. My color is also darker and slightly more Red, so I'm wondering if I received the 2nd Formula that was mixed for me? The 1st one was more like this color. In any case I don't know of anyway to glase this over. I have a mixture of colors since my hair is much longer now and the back hair and lower hair had lightened in the sun. I'm sure it will lighten up and I had a few inches cut off to help out with this look. Thanks.

My aunt, a hairdresser, told me a long time ago not to use volume shampoo bc it “enlarges” the hair cuticle...well, I was struggling with thinning hair and would do anything to have some volume, so I tried this. Unfortunately, it seemed to do exactly what my aunt said, my hair just looked thin and poofy.

This product is just too heavy, once I have shampooed and conditioned it always feels like the is a leftover residue in my hair almost like it is not correctly rinsed but it is. Have stopped using after a few try’s as my hair just feels like a greasy tangled mess after using it.

I really wanted to love this, but I don’t.... my hair has turned into a giant ball of static.... I am still on the fence because I am still on first bottles, but I am not terribly impressed.. I’m pretty bummed about this.
UPDATE: Hi! I never received an email from you. I have completely used up the shampoo & conditioner. Still a ball of static. Maybe my hair is just too fine for this product. But, everything else I have ordered from eSalon I have absolutely loved!!!

I have been impressed with the quality of products thus far. That said, this shampoo was disappointing. It did not make a rich lather and my hair was as limp as before. Honestly did not see any difference.

I really like the smell of the product, but it makes my hair look dull and knotty.
I have thick hair, so maybe this works for other hair types.
I have tried other brands of volume shampoo/conditioner before, and I had never experienced this. It makes my hair feel stiff and difficult to even run my fingers through.

I thought the shampoo and conditioner would be a bit more luxurious. Unfortunately it made my hair feel really dry and course, like straw, each time I have tried it. Could be I am just used to having super silky hair and this just wasn't what I expected.

I am so disappointed in this product because everything else I have tried from your company is good. I do not recommend this product for anyone. It completely dries and strips your hair, you can't even brush through your hair after using it. I even use a leave-in spray conditioner and I still am not able to brush through my hair. Terrible product.

Unfortunately, I experienced a great deal of fallout with this product. At first I was attributing it to many other possibilities, but then decided to return to the Classic shampoo and conditioner. Immediately the fallout stopped, and has continued to be normal. I did like the way it made my hair feel though.

Don't really find that it gives my hair any more volume than usual and I think that the conditioner bottle should be bigger that the shampoo bottle as you only need a little shampoo as it lathers up alot, but you need quite a bit conditioner. Does leave the hair shiney though!

I haven't noticed any evidence of these products helping with my hair's volume. Also, I was expecting them to smell better... They don't smell bad exactly, but they have a hint of hair dye smell, which is NOT what I was expecting. I'll probably stick with my store bought shampoo and conditioner.

I have had my share of both cheap and expensive hair care and this shampoo and conditioner set felt really poor quality. The scent was like a cheap soap and it wasn’t pleasant (sorry) and although it did what it said and my hair had more volume, the set was expensive and actually didn’t last very long (I ran out quite quick). The dye service is great, I just think the shampoo/conditioner needs a bit of work.

I was hoping for a volumizing product that worked as well as the the classic shampoo but this product seemed to pull my color out faster. It did however add texture.

This product is not worth it used it twice and it was like someone rubbed a balloon on my head! Went back to my old products and thank goodness I had some left 1st time back using it static was gone!

I barely write reviews on any products that I purchased, I am doing this to save other people from experiencing the nightmare that I had using these products. These "volume" shampoo & conditioner DO NOT give any volume at all. My hair became so ugly & lifeless, it's like being in a very humid place (I live in America, in a state where there's 0 humidity). Your hair would look like you have not shampooed in such a long time, It's just awful what these would do to your hair. I started having itchy scalp too. Please, do not buy any of these products or better yet, do not buy anything from eSalon.

Having had much success with the colourists blending of my choice of colour I was expecting as good quality from the offered shampoo and conditioner duo, however I was sadly disappointed by the quality and the results. I opted for the Volume Shampoo and Conditioner duo, but it failed to make me smile with the quality or the results it had on my hair. I had to rewash my hair to remove all traces of the duo set as it felt heavy and flat. I won't be ordering that again.
