I didn’t like it but it may just be me. I don’t even like hair spray in my hair. Too sticky. I like my hair to stay soft. I just don’t think there is a mouse or product that doesn’t give you the matted sticky feel. So I gave it 3 stars. Because it probably works awesome for some people. It’s definitely better than others I have tried. (I have baby fine Caucasian hair that falls out super easily)

For a volumizing mousse, this was heavy and weighed down my hair. It also leaves a bad residue, so my hair felt dirty on day one. Despite this, I have it a second try and used less product, but got the same result. Not a fan.

First, the design is bad. The spigot (?) should be taller. you have to shake it really hard to not get liquid to come out, and then because spout is low, it just dribbles.
As a curly girl, I'd like a control mousse, not a volumizing mousse.

this is too sticky...I actually received a second bottle as it was in my reoccurring orders....I did not change it in time, otherwise I would have ordered the hair spray instead. I do like the hair styling lotion much better!

I absolutely love eSalon hair color, so I was excited to try the mousse. I was very disappointed. On day one I had very little volume, and on day two my hair was flat and almost stringy (I wash my hair every other day). I tried varying the amount I use, but it didn't seem to make a difference. After a month I went back to the product I've used for years and was much happier.

It seemed like air coming out of the container and seemed to disappear before I even got it on my hair. I didn't notice any difference in my hair after I styled it. I do have very thick hair to begin with, but I was looking for something to give it more body.

This is the worst product for delivery because I was just told that this product will ship via Ground and will have to wait extra days for delivery. I have already waited 8 days and I still haven't received it!

From my experience with other Esalon products, I was anticipating Above The Clouds to be awesome. Although it's not horrible, it's not as good as most f the time their products. I haven't reordered it, nor do I plan to.

This product appears to be no better than any other mousse on the market. One negative point is that it leaves a residue on the hair that weighs down the hair and, therefore, I have to wash my hair more often to keep it from drooping too much. Which is contrary to what the product is supposed to do - volumize - not flatten down.

I have been using this product for over a year. Have liked the color. Only had one complaint and it was handled very courteously. Until now. The last 3 times that I have colored my hair it has been left looking flat and dirty. I wash and wash it but it takes about 3 weeks for my hair to return to normal. Before this I was very happy with the service and the product. When I reported this I was told that I must not have rinsed my hair properly after dying it. Even though I have been using it for over a year I guess esalon thinks that all of a sudden I'm dumb and can't follow directions. Thats how they made me feel. No further response from them when I reported it again and again. Will buy my hair color elsewhere.

I am not particularly happy with this product. I have used it twice and now it hardly comes out of the bottle. I don't know if the bottle is defective or what. It does not make your hair feel like it's loaded down with product and it works fairly well just can not get it out of the bottle.

I didn't feel like this product did anything for my hair. I had to actually use a Suave mousse on top of this one to get my hair to do anything... and it smelled funny. Not sold on this one at all. Definitely not volumizing whatsoever. :(

Although it says it won't leave your hair sticky or crunchy like traditional mousses, that's exactly how my hair has come out each time I've used this mousse. So disappointed! I really had high hopes for this to work better than the usual store brand mousse I get but that usual mousse actually works way better on me than this one!

Mousse doesn't add volume

I have fine hair and need something powerful for volume, like a gel. This mousse doesn't do it and I won't buy it again. I suspect if you have thick hair, this will work well.

The mousee will not thicken up and just smells icky.

A nice, light volumizer that doesn't quite work for me, leaving a slightly drying, fly-away effect. Other products in My Match-up are more effective for my hair.
