I started to order the shampoo that comes in the color kits but decided to try the volumizing version instead. I don't notice any improvement in volume, but I do notice a slightly "clorox-y" smell. I also don't like the pump. It's hard to push down and doesn't dispense enough for a shampoo without multiple pumps. I plan to switch to the regular version next time. The pump may be the same, but at least I know it has a nice smell.

I'm not used to shampoos that don't have sodium laryl sufate. It's hard to get a lather. I know the damage that SLS can cause on color treated hair. I'm still working through my first bottle. The one thing I know I don't like is the pump, it's too hard to press down

Same as shampoo. Soft hair, nice volume from conditioner but bottle pump does work. Multiple, multiple pumps needed to get hair washed. Stiff bottle materials, so can't squeeze to get more out when bottle low

After using the heart lock shampoo and conditioner, I purchased this set to see if I could get more volume out of my fine hair. It seemed heavier and my hair got dirty quicker with the Big Softie. I will be returning to the heart lock set. I think sometimes it's just a matter of what works with your hair. This didn't do it for me.

The 2 stars is not for the product, which I thought was pretty good, but for the packaging. I have already sent an email to esalon, but if you have any kind of pain in your hands, their pump bottle is very difficult to use. It is very stiff and I had to just remove it. Which DID work for the shampoo, but was problematic for the conditioner as it is very thick. I eventually had to add water to it. I cannot buy this again until they change the bottle.

I rinsed for several minutes, and it didn't feel right, but I started drying it, and couldn't run my fingers OR my comb through the hair. After several minutes of rinsing again, it was more manageable, but still didn't feel GOOD. I tried it twice, and it happened both times. Won't be purchasing this again.

I do love this conditioner, but I find this kind of bottle very difficult. I have a lot of hair, and it needs a lot of conditioner, which I'm used to. But this kind of pump bottle doesn't really allow for ease in getting a lot of conditioner out.

This is doing nothing, no softness to your hair and don't feel anything differentt in the volume, your hair is even more tangled than before. Very thick and not worth it for the price.

Not enough product comes out per pump. I have to pump it 10 times to get enough shampoo to wash my hair. Shampoo smells nice and gives my hair a nice shine. If the pump worked better I would consider buying it again.

I wanted to like this but after a week of use my hair became dry and dull.
I switched to another conditioner and my hair became soft and shiny.

The shampoo & conditioner is ok. I don't like the pump at all !! It barely comes out, & takes too long to get the correct amount out. I now just open the top, but shouldn't have to.

After washing and conditioning it made me hair very dry and brittle. It was difficult to brush through and tangled very easily. I also did not see any improvement in volume.

You put a thick shampoo into a bottle with a tiny little straw to dispense with. It doesn't volumize and smells icky. Had to completely remove the top to be able to get anything out of the bottle.

I like the conditioner that comes with the hair dye so I bought this thinking it will work the same but with "volume" added. It doesn't condition at all. My hair was still dry, tangled and greased. It's the worse conditioner I ever used. I gave it to a friend to try and she hated it. She threw the whole bottle away.

Another disappointment....again I had to pump it quite a bit to get enough to put in my hair and it didn't leave my hair soft or didn't untangle areas that needed it. I even put more conditioner in that particular area, and no go...
