This shampoo is pretty good, but so annoyed that the pump doesn't work! I have to unscrew the top and pour it out every time i use it and have ended up wasting a lot and getting it everywhere.

I have shoulder length hair and it takes 6 or 7 pumps to get enough shampoo to make any lather. It looks great out of the bottle but when I wash my hair it turns into nothing.

When I buy the color kit, the shampoo is great. I thought this would be the same shampoo. It is not!! It is possibly the worst shampoo I have ever bought! This shampoo does not lather at all - not even before I put it in my hair. It does not even lather a tiny bit! I will never buy this shampoo again. I tried to give it no stars at all but it would not let me.

I have to use ten pumps at least two times before my hair is clean. This bottle isn't very big either. It's smaller than the typical size shampoo. The samples that come with the hair dye aren't watered down which made me love it until I bought the real thing. Don't waste your money. This only happens with the shampoo.

I have used this shampoo for a while now, and I continue to like it. However, this is the second bottle I have received from the line that has a faulty pump. It does not work. Fortunately, I had not yet thrown away one of my empty bottles, so I exchanged the pumps, but I don't like that I cannot rely on the product arriving in working condition.

The shampoo is the same as any color protecting shampoo. I didn't feel like it was cleansing my hair. The pump broke and they wouldn't send me a replacement pump. I was very disappointed.

I was sooo excited to finally order this Shampoo, because I absolutely LOVE the packets I receive in my hair coloring kit. So, imagine my disappointment, upon using this "bottle" of shampoo. The 1st thing-- it was difficult to open the pump, then once "someone else" started the pump, I thought great! Now, onto the fabulously lather I experienced using after coloring my hair. NOT!. So, I thought OK -- I'll use 2 squirts instead of one..Nothing - no lather, etc. So, I'm really disappointed w/ this product and was sooo excited to finally break down a buy a more expensive shampoo made by eSalon to go w/ my coloring kit... IDK. Maybe it was just the bottle I received, but .... Please help. . I'll give it 2 stars... just because... But I'd like to give the 5 stars that I know it deserves.

The more I used the product the more my hair and scalp became dry, up on reading the ingredients I noticed the shampoo contains SLS. SLS can be an irritant in some people me being one of them the reason I dont use any product that contains theses Sulphate products.

Unlike, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), SLSA is completely safe for most skin types. It removes oils and bacteria without irritating the skin. What throws people off when they look at these two ingredients is the first two words being identical, and from there it’s assumed that they must be very similar. We are happy to report that Heart Lock It is Sulfate Free!

All the Shampoo and conditioner products are wonderful. However, when you purchase the full-sized product the bottle pump is cheaply made and breaks easily. I have longer thicker hair and have to pump the bottle at least 20 times to get a gumball sized portion in my palm. I eventually have to open the bottle completely and pour it into my hand. I finally stopped buying any of the shampoo and conditioner products. I would love to see this product in a squeeze bottle!!

I'm finding that I have to use a lot of this product to get my hair clean. Also, I'm not sure it's as gentle as I'd like it to be for a color safe product. After washing it feels a bit stripped before applying conditioner.

It doesn't suds up very easily but maybe that's the way it's supposed to work??? I usually have to use at least 10 or more pumps but I do have very thick long hair. I find its quite pricey compared to other good products I've used and it's not a large bottle, in fact its smaller than most shampoo bottles. I do love the pump feature though.

I've tried many hair color conditioners and this one was by far the worst. It didn't detangle, moisturize or even smell great. My hair was so dry that I had to re condition with another conditioner to get the tangles out.

Upon arrival, I was initially disappointed with the amount of product I received for the price. I dismissed my thoughts, reminding myself that good things come in small packages. Once I tried the shampoo, I discovered it didn't lather well. I had to rinse and shampoo again. This time with a few extra pumps of the product.
I'll pass on this product and use other professional shampoos that smell nice, lather well, lock in color AND are more cost effective.

I'm not sure if it just isn't right for my hair, but it CANNOT get it clean. Initially I thought my hair just needed to adjust but even after a few weeks of use, my hair is heavy and greasy feeling. Today I used nearly 1/4 cup of shampoo and FINALLY feel like my hair got a little bit cleaner. Definitely won't be purchasing this again!

The shampoo does not seem to spread well - seems like I need lots of it. The shampoo that comes with the colour kit feels way better.
