This really does soften and shine. My full bodied waves look healthy and vibrant. Great product!
One issue is the packaging. I can’t overstate how awful I find the rebranding. The design is ill-conceived and reminds me of my mother’s 1970’s kotex. Aside from asthetics, the font, color and layout make the packaging nearly impossible to read, even when magnified. Thank goodness the products inside are great.

My hair is thin & fine, but long. It just takes 1 or 2 small pumps - while it's still wet, I rub it around good in my hands, then run my fingers through my hair, focusing on the ends, and comb through just one more time.
At first, I tried using it WITH the Illuminating Shine Spray. That was too much for me, as it weighed my hair down & looked greasy.
BOTH are amazing products and work great for me, but each when used alone.
Very happy with both!!

Its very good but I really can continue to use my own Argon Oil treatment Ive been using for yrs. Its a bit pricy for the amount of product, and I really see no difference from what I buy from my local Beauty Supplier.

I'm not a fan of using a lot of product on my hair; however, with the humid climate I live, 'calm' hair is difficult to manage. I've tried many things and even went so far to use several at one time ONLY to last half a day. My hair consistently felt filthy..ugh! That was until Shining Armor; just a few pumps on damp hair after I shampoo and a couple more after drying and it's smooth, soft and cooperates. Long story short, when my hair is happy, I'm happy!

REALLY helps to stop the sun bleaching out your color. I work out side and with out this I would turn in to a blonde between colors. This stops that from happening. the only thing is its messy to use. I wish it came in a spray.

I used this for the first time last night. I realized as I was in the shower that I had no conditioner left. Ugh. My hair is very thick and is usually a knotted mess without conditioner. So, after the shower, I used this, hoping it would compensate, and my hair came out soft, shiny, but still full-bodied and bouncy - not at all greasy.

I DO enjoy this product a lot - and use it nearly every day. One thing, however, is you CAN use too much (then hair gets a greasy slick look). Just a very small amount scrunched through hair with your fingers will do it - smoothes fly aways and moisturizes ends...

I love everything about ESalon's hair color! But this, has lots of room for improvement. As a gloss it's so-so, it has very little fragrance, and it's not something I will reorder.

if you only use a small amount, you can't notice that you've used anything at all. If you use more, then it only leaves the hair greasy, even on wet or damp hair. Not a good product and would not recommend.

One thing I dislike about many hair products, their scent is just too strong. I sadly got a migraine after using this. I'm not sure what's in it, but even my wife said the product was too much. I think when I moved, I just ended up tossing it since neither of us could use it.

When I open the package, the oil is everywhere in side the bag. The base cardboard is completely soaked with the oil. The shampoo packed together is also covered with oil. The leakage is not coming from the pump, it’s from the bottom of the bottle.

Not the worst,, but not the best. I don’t notice much of a difference when I use this product. My hair is still quite frizzy and I find I have to use quite a bit of product to even notice a slight difference. I wouldn’t buy it again.
