I really like this shampoo but I wish I didn't have to pump soooo many times to get enough product in my hand. It also doesn't lather up very well. I will continue to purchase but would request changing the bottles on shampoo and conditioner.

I only recently received this shampoo, so I can only go by the small packets included in the kits. It didn't harm my hair, but it also didn't do anything particularly special. I only bought it because I like to use products within a line. I won't be able to tell until it's I've been using it for a while if it's better than my regular shampoo which is also color-safe.

It makes my hair soft and it smells good however it doesn’t lather well and I have to use more to get my hair clean. I’m going back to using Pantene’s sulfate free color care shampoo which does lather well and is more cost effective.

This shampoo is so watery compared to the shampoo by the same name that they send with the color. It's absolutely junk. I actually still have some from the first order. AND when you cancel the order, they miraculously have it turned back on and expect you to pay for it! So, eSalon, that is what is called a bad business decision. When you sell junk, you sometimes have to eat it.

I've used the HEART line for awhile and have now been getting this item in my order. If this has replaced the HEART line then it seems to have changed and not for the better. My hair isn't nearly as soft or manageable. I'm also not a fan of the new packaging (prefer the pump and or thumb push cap).

I have tried this several times, and I guess if you have oily hair this does not work at all. I checked the bottle several times to see if it was cream rinse instead of shampoo. The shampoo is a thick white cream like conditioner and did not get my hair clean at all. I used a little bit of it, normal amount and a larger portion of it. Washed my hair once and rinsed it, twice and rinsed it and even three times and rinsed it. All the times I tried it my hair the next day was like I really had not washed it and did not look clean. If you have oily hair I don't think this would work for anyone. Needless to say I am going to throw away what is left.

I don't know what has changed or if it has but this past six months using the Classic Shampoo I have found it seems "cheaper". It doesn't lather very well, requires more shampoo. Not good for my hair, globs of it came out when the girl washed my hair. This shampoo dried my hair out after coloring. I asked the girl to put in a moisturizing one and she put some leave in conditioner. I wish they would put the right shampoo in my color packet I get. I always throw these out

I do like this shampoo but my bottle had leaked about a third of the product into the mailing container and at the price point .... that really hurt. The lid wasn’t on well so it leaked out. I lost product and my box was a mess. Please be more careful when packaging your products.

It lacks suds, so i probably used more than necessary. It has a "thin" feel, and doesnt integrate with my hair---sort of falls out of my hair. The fragrance is mild and pleasant but I wont reorder.

Same here, after hubby dies my hair, it takes a lot of shampoo to wash my hair and get rid of the excess color. I get about 5 - 6 uses with each bottle, which makes it rather expensive. The quality is good, it just does not foam unless I use more than I usually would use.

Honestly, as much as I love the E-Salon coloring, I cannot endorse the shampoo or conditioner. I really liked the samples in the kit but the full size(s) are disappointing. Plus, they look identical in the shower! I have to put them in separate spots because I can't see which is WHICH! I will go back to the beauty supply store and try again.

I bought this shampoo because I love the single use packet that comes in my at home color treatment. the large size does not have any scent and it does not lather. I bought the large size because I was going away with my sisters and I wanted them to try this product. This large size is not the same product. Neither is the conditioner. I was very disappointed. I won't buy either of them again.

I thought the packet of shampoo you get with the color kit was hard to lather because of the chemical you are washing out from just coloring and I liked the smell, so I ordered it hoping my color would last longer. I am very disappointed. I continually have to use more for my hair to feel clean and didn’t see a difference. I’m definitely going back to my regular color-safe shampoo. For me, this was not worth the money at all.

I decided to try this since the price is lower than the shampoo I buy in a salon. This shampoo doesn't control my frizziness - even with extra product in it and using a flat iron. The other thing I noticed (this is just personal preference), my hair looked greasy the next day. With the shampoo from the salon I wouldn't have to start using dry shampoo until day two or three and then could use dry shampoo for a couple days before I needed to wash it again. I would need to wash my hair every day with this shampoo.

I purchased this hoping to have a better sulfate Free shampoo but this is no better than the rest. It leaves my hair a tangly mess and greasy the next day. I also have to use a lot of conditioner just to de-tangle the mess in the shower. I almost finished my first bottle hoping it would get better and purchased another because I didn’t know what else to use. I’m done with this shampoo and the conditioner that goes with it. Won’t purchase either again.

I'm so glad to see from the other reviews that I'm not the only one dumbfounded by your redesign. Your products now look like I would find them in a no-tell motel bathroom ... generic and outdated. The bottle color is reminiscent of the pink anti-itch product I put on mosquito bites as a kid (not a pleasant memory, and one from the 1970s!). The loss of the pump top is a bummer, too. All this redesign looks like is an effort to cut costs. I know you say the product itself hasn't changed, and I hope that's true, because if it did get cheaper along with your redesign, I won't be a member for much longer.

With the new products, my hair feels like straw. I have to throw these away. I tried 4x and my hair is now so unmanageable, compared to the previous formulation. The company says that nothing has changed but the packaging.....NOT TRUE.

I have basically stopped using this shampoo because my hair doesn't "feel" light and clean after one or sometimes even two washes. It smells really good, though! It's probably my hair type that prevents me from loving it.
