I'm really happy with my hair. The color and texture after using my custom esalon kit is wonderful. The instructions were clear, the product easy to use, and the results are fabulous. I'd say more than 95% of my gray is covered, my color is natural and vibrant, and the texture is soft and healthy.

I use the demi color so it washes out naturally over time. They matched my color perfectly with just a picture. My hair holds color and chemicals a bit longer, but I can go 2-3 months or longer especially when I remember to use color safe products.

My hair is tricky...Breaks easy and soaks up color too quickly without coloring gray. With eSalon it's been GREAT! No Breakage! I love the color blend I receive from esalon. The coloring is so much nicer than what I receive professionally not to mention that it adds volume. After occasional discussions on color mixture and asking hairdresser to pull color through ends for the last 5 minutes, I'm going to start coloring my own hair again. My last visit a few weeks ago to the salon resulted in reddish brown roots and darker brown ends - very unnatural. Thank you for a beautiful blend.

Everyone loves this color for my hair, including my hairdresser. It fades naturally and is just right for the amount of gray in my hair (quite a bit). The blonde color is made especially for me and it works.

Ease of application and color that lasts. I had not colored my hair since receipt of your custom color several months ago, so after a haircut taking off 12-13", it was virgin gray hair which was covered completely and evenly.
Would like to have just a tad more auburn, pursuant to comments by friends.

I colored my hair about a year ago so I had long uncolored roots showing. Sent them a pic, and they sent what I needed for the roots and also the long ends. I knew it would never be an exact match in the condition my hair was in, but it is so much better than it was! Redhead sure beats dark with grey streaks!

the product is great. it didn't dry my hair out like the store bought or salon. my hair felt normal. my first go round of color was a bit darker than what I wanted but had them adjust it and now just waiting on my next shipment.

Everything about it is fabulous. The color lasts twice as long as my favorite store bought brand and the highlight are amazing! I love that I can adjust the color with my next order. Even my hair stylist who knows I am too cheap to do my hair professionally asked me what dye I'm using now because he liked the color and the highlights.

I was a little skeptic on this whole process but I was wrong. The color came out so beautiful I couldn't believe it. I have very long, thick hair and it was evenly colored and shiny when all was done. I did the demi permanent, figured it would last about 3 weeks or so but I was wrong on that as well. It lasted about 8 weeks, I am so happy with this experience, I am ordering again. Up until a couple months ago, I have never colored my hair, now, I am loving it. My hair feels great, looks healthy and shiny every day. Thank you so very much!!

I waited way too long to try this! I have used this 3 times so far and will never try anything else. The kits are easy to use, they send everything you need and it is high quality! The color is awesome and lasts much better than anything I bought in the store. My hair feels softer and looks much healthier. I would highly recommend this!!

I have been going to my hair salon monthly for over 20 years paying 240$ per visit. I honestly thought I could only get salon results (covering my grey hair) at the salon. I have curly/wavy thick hair that always gets butchered at the hair dressers so I have been cutting my own hair for the past year. I have been looking for an alternative to dye since then because, unfortunately, I have also had a steady uphill battle with grey hair since I was 16 (thanks dad).
The packaging is delightful. It comes with everything needed (my first box had one for my roots, and one for my ends since I had coloured hair previously). It seems very thoughtfully laid out, and even comes with a little sticker to pin up your instructions. I especially loved the little extra tips it included.
The only thing I would do differently next time is the application. Like I mentioned before, I have thicker hair, so I probably should have listened to my gut and divided my hair into smaller sections, but that is on me. The coverage was still great, but I did miss a few small sections underneath, so I think it is important to remember to tweak things as you get around that learning curve.
As I was working the excess colour out of my hair, the product did feel strange. It almost felt greasy and gooey (not quite the right description, but the closest I could put into words). I was a little worried the first minute or so in the shower, but once I finished with the shampoo that sensation was gone. Plus as I finished with the conditioner it was feeling great! My only comparison for at home dye is the boxed stuff, which always leaves my hair feeling stripped, so I guess I am just not used to it feel hydrated with dye!
Once I finished with the process I used the enclosed stain remover (very effective), and then towel dried my hair with a microfiber cloth, allowed it to air dry, and finished with a quick trim. I was more impressed with the finished product then any time I have left the salon and actually had someone ask where I had got it done! So far I am incredibly happy with the results, but will test it out a few more times to confirm it lives up to this first use.

This is the exact color of my natural hair! The gray was so easy to cover and the color hasn't washed out like it does with the cheap coloring. Definitely will be ordering this again!!

Been using custom color for about 9 months now and more than happy with the result and the service. I did think at first how can they get it right without seeing you in person but they do. The color they mixed perfectly suits my skin colour and leaves my hair in good condition. I've also had it adjusted to reduce brassiness. Love the colour and I've had lots of complements too.
