ok....I am somewhat of a cynical hair color user. A previous scalp injury coupled with long term color use has left some burnt spots. And that doesn't include the grey/white hairs that's crept in and irritated me with color resistance. I've used eSalon for a while now and have consistent results without the burnt areas from before. In fact I have seen an improvement in the damaged areas with less breakage and dryness. I've noticed that no matter how many times I wash my hair the color hasn't faded significantly. Even in a hurry and skipping hair product my hair has not reverted to the burnt wiry damage that had been common with over the counter coloring product. I hope to continue using eSalon products. Remember, you get what you pay for and I'm getting the good stuff.

The adjusted color was just right. Red tones were just enough, as were the golden tones.
The finished look was very believable and not a gray in sight.
I'm just weeks shy of my 63rd birthday and this formulation looks so natural that you would never guess it.

At first I was sceptical, because most color doesn't change my grey for very long, but the first order was great. Then I let my hair grow out, and I adjusted the color a bit darker and it is fabulous. The color lasts, and my hair feels soft.

I have changed my color both lighter and darker over the years. I've never actually hated any of the colors I've gone with, BUT the color you chose for me, is the first one I have actually loved! I know from years of having my hair professionally colored with an occasional "do it yourself" that getting color just right is an art, especially when matched with a photo. I sent one that showed my hair as it looked indoors under light. My custom color is perfect!!!

I’ve used every box on Targets shelf. I have gone to beauty supply stores and gotten separate items to ‘customize’ my color, I’ve had professionals guide me being on a budget. There is no better color than this company. I was skeptical because my hair NEVER does what I want it to, but I gave it a shot. It was adjusted as needed and now I get the box delivered to my door and it’s only $25 for the kit plus shipping. Can’t beat it!

I like my color a lot. I think it was easy to use and understand the directions.
My only concerns were that my hair was very oily after using the product and my blonde got a little purple(barely noticeable) for a day or two.
My favorite thing is that my hair is not brassy like it gets with other products I’ve used outside of a salon. This is a great price for good quality color.

eSalon has responded to each of my requests for changes and adjustments in my color. I asked for a darker shade of brown. The highlights came out perfectly as usual. Your videos are so helpful, and your directions are excellent. Working with eSalon, I believe anyone who colors at home can achieve salon results. Ironically, when I had a salon do my hair, no one ever said a thing. Since I have been using eSalon, I receive frequent compliments about my hair and highlights. Thank you eSalon!!

I was not sure at first but I am sure now. This hair color stays on longer then any other hair color I have ever used..I refuse to go to a salon because of the expense but I was not happy doing it myself.. Now I am very happy. Working at getting the color just right. The hair colorist have been very patient and helpful.. I am pleased..

I decided to budget more and stopped going to my hair stylist. I do not have highlights but i have gray in my hair. I filled out the color I was looking for then you custom answer questions. I received all my supplies and when i was finished I was really surprised. You can tell when someone uses the box it is too harsh and does not look natural. This mixture of colors looks just like when i finish from my stylist. When i went back on line to just change it up a bit they called me so it was better understood what i wanted. I was shocked one on one consultation over the phone. So I am staying with it. If they could only come out here to cut my hair i would be set!!!! Very happy and pleased

I’ve struggled with unwanted red undertones on light brown hair for years. I stopped coloring my hair because of that. Esalon color keeps the hair natural and it has vivid tones. You can wish for exactly what you want and I got a beautiful golden color without ANY red undertones. Really clear instructions come with the color. I love your product. The key to its success is following directions. I noticed in some reviews people didn’t pull the color through toward the end of coloring. They also left the color in their hair way too long before a rinse out!! You have to leave on for the specific right amount of time. And a great leave in daily conditioner is awesome. I love my hair. I have been happy with the overall customer service. They are friendly and professional. I was super happy with the product. When I first got it, I really didn't think it would be enough to color all of my hair. I was wrong. Actually had some left! I would never know what to get in the store & even had gone shopping with a hair dresser. It was all just confusing to me trying to figure out what color/number/etc. So this is the Perfect solution. I am obsessed with the color (my boyfriend loves it too). Along with the reasonable prices, I am hooked.

The custom hair coloring is perfect. I have had better results with eSalon than what I have had at a salon. It took me a bit to get used to coloring my hair myself and I would recommend getting the clothing drape for anyone who has not done an at home color before. I love the color and having my own go to specialist who will help with any adjustments that I need to make. Amazing product!

1. The first (and subsequent) conversations with my colorist (Jenny) were SO friendly, informative, and I felt like she actually really cared about every single thing I said.
2. Beyond conversing, Jenny took extra time to let me upload further photos of my hair is various colors to show how it had taken those, including what I was ordering this time.
3. Delivery was SO fast!!!
4. The eSalon Team included a FREE complimentary entire second kit for my hair (due to length and thickness, as well as having color in it already).
5. I almost wish I could do this every week JUST to feel the kindness and care and above and beyond help that the company provides.

the adjusted color was fine tuned perfectly. It gave me that little extra oompf I was looking for. Red tones were warm and rich with the copper picking up the blend. Brown under notes blended in perfectly. All around great job on a color I will use for a long time! Thanks Nicole!
