Not what I thoughtThe color is much lighter then I thought it would be and it seems to be sporadic. The top is much lighter and the ends are much darker. Not good coverage for gray hairsUnfortunately it didn’t cover my grey hairs. They are all visible. Also the color isn’t unique in my whole hair. Didn't stick to my hairI colored my hair with this following all directions. Within 2 weeks of coloring it, my gray was showing and my ash color from my previous color was coming through!!! Today I get an email they charged my card and shipped an "autoship". No email was sent to warn there was an upcoming automated shipment or that I was going to be charged. Horrible experience. The smell was too powerful and dried out my hairI was hopeful that this product would work for me, but was very disappointed. First off the smell was very strong. So much so that by the time I got into the shower it was burning my eyes and nose, and my eyes would not stop watering. This alone would make me not want to use again. On top of that it really dried out my hair, and I am just now able to not have it full of static after 5 weeks. The color faded pretty quickly, and I can see my grey showing again. I am getting one more bottle due to the auto ship. I called to cancel the order, but was told that I could not cancel it even though it has not shipped. I will not be using it. Die Farbe ist EIGENTLICH super, aber...Allerdings ist es alleine tatsächlich eher schwierig, die Farbe den Anweisungen entsprechend aufzutragen. Eine Freundin hat das für mich gemacht. Das Ergebnis war super, die Farbe und die Abdeckung toll, ohne künstlich zu wirken. Don’t buy this product!Zero stars. They must have sent me a bad batch of peroxide because the dye dissolved the ends of my hair and it tangled so badly I had to cut six inches from my hair! My scalp burned as well. The product was sticky and hard to get out of my hair even after several shampoos. Save your hair and don’t order this horrible product. What BS to answer me “that one of your hair care specialist have worked with me” This is not true, no one helped me with anything. Hair dye,I loved the colour and had lots of compliments. Unfortunately it is more like a wash in wash out dye. After 2 nd wash & condition the roots started to fade, it went from warm brown to orange undertones. After 3rd wash it was more obvious that the roots were showing through. Not worth the discomfortThe color and coverage is actually great. Covered grays nicely. The 2 star rating is based on the application process. The chemical/ammonia was so strong, the entire application process was so uncomfortable and gave me a terrible headache. My scalp now feels tight and itchy. Recommendations were not takenI had added specific additional comments to my order that my hair dresser gave me. Because I had relocated and have not found a hair dresser yet, I decided to try eSalon vs. Sally products due to the quality. But I would of hoped that the colorist would of taken the color recommendations from my hair dresser that I indicated I used based of the color and highlights he gave me. DONT PURCHASEthis is unbelievable, I was so excited to try this instead of just buying regular box dye since i loved that they make it so easy. Unfortunately, i was extremely disappointing, i have virgin hair and this was the first time dying my hair, so I was really excited. My hair is natural and extremely healthy so there's no reason as to why this shouldn't go smoothly. i followed all the instruction very carefully, never skipped anything and fully saturated my hair, and left it on for the recommended times. after removing it i was extremely disappointed my hair didnt change . a single shade. Way too darkEverything about the color and description of my blend lead me to believe this would be an auburn or even straight up medium red-toned blend. Wrong. On my head it ended up being almost dark burgundy, even after washing. It's not a bad color, and the process was as easy as any other home dye kit I'd used, but it's not the result I expected, and certainly not what I wanted. I'm almost worried I'm going to have to bleach this out or go through two or three dye cycles of something else to get back just to where I was before I used this color. Too dark, not what I was looking for.This color, while pretty, is way too dark and it doesn't have a purple hue to it at all. It just looks like I have dark brown hair with a red undertone. In certain light it looks like a dark Auburn. Not what I wanted, and I was pretty sad when I saw the results. Poor resultThe application was incredibly laborious for a poor result. Colour looks incredibly unnatural and brassy in daylight. The root and tip application that was suggested has left me with barely any colour on my ends, and uneven colour. Despite following the instructions to the t and applying with a brush for even coverage. I also question how the dye differs from your standard box dye. Horrible customer serviceI canceled my plan back in october. They charged me in january and in march for 27 each. They apologized for the inconvenience but made me pay for their shipping that I didn't even order. The girl was rude talking over me saying "sorry there is nothing I can do for you" after I asked her multiple times to refund my money. Finally after raising my voice my money will be refunded in 3 days but still have to pay for the shipping. Very disappointedVery messy, you have two bottles of color, one for the roots and one for the ends. Hard to rinse out, left my hair feeling sticky even after 4 rinses. Pretty bad4 tries and 4 results that are far off the mark. First three kits (color to take warm blonde into copper) just sent toner, which did not color the hair. 4th attempt was darker red which I had hoped would be easier to deliver on. I now have crayon red roots and hair that looks like I washed it with koolaid. Didn’t lastWhile the color was beautiful and my hair was so soft and smelled great, the color wore off in 2 1/2 weeks. My roots came right through. Even the color shampoo didn’t help. Hair breakageNot good for fine Nordic hair. I've colored my hair about 3-4 times with this product and my hair has gotten thinner and very brittle from using this hair color - also the natural waves in my hair is almost obsolete. Severe damage to hair, lot of breakage and it is also less elastic than usual. Will take long before the damage is repaired and my hair is back to normal length and fullness. Still DarkI've never dyed my hair before so I did a strand test from a video I saw on youtube from esalon. I followed the instructions and my hair is still as dark as it was before. My hair is a dark brown and I wanted to dye it to ash pearl. I only rate this a two because my hair did feel a lot softer, but I am disappointed in the coloring. colour came out wrongI followed all the instructions and my hair was not as you promised. I have taken a before and after photo. All my brown that I spent ages (high salon costs of bleaching and recolouring) to get right is gone and a very unbecoming red has emerged after using your colour. I did not want red but dark brown. I send a picture of my colour and wanted my roots to be blended into the new colour. Now my roots are jetblack and the rest is red. DisappointingI received my color kit as expected. It’s just a box that mostly contains all the stuff every dye kit contains with one nice exception: there is a little tube of stuff you can put along your hairline to prevent dye stains. It worked very well. I read all the instructions carefully before I began and followed them all without exception but my color turned out badly. I chose an auburn color that wasn’t far from what I had already; it just needed to be refreshed and my grays covered. What I got was a vaguely orange color that didn’t even cover all the gray. Definitely won’t order againI was very specific about my hair colour the greys and what I was looking for. Instead they delved into every detail of my hair and ended up sending me a jet black which I was adamant I did not want. As a result of their specialists not listening I will never reorder again or use Esalon.
