I’m 100% gray and used this just to give me a little color. Worked great for coverage and I’m 3 weeks into the color. I asked for more ash tones as my gray really goes gold/brassy which I don’t like.

I followed instructions for coloring the gray hair but the gray was back within a week. I don’t want to keep coloring every two weeks. I’m a little disappointed.

En un inicio no estuve muy contenta con el color porque no se nota mucho, pero con el paso del tiempo empecé a verlo, creo que es un producto un poco agresivo con el cabello, a pesar del shampoo y el acondicionador que trae. Recomendaria realizarse una mascarilla hidratante después de usarlo.

I was very much on the fence about this type of service, but I thought I would give it a try at least once, because red hair can be difficult to do if not the right blend of colour. The delivery was not good for me ( it took to long) but the colour is smack on, I love the red and copper tones in it. No more carrot or cherry hair for me.

I found this product easy to use,and it left my hair soft and Shiny. I have found that the colour has not held as long on my roots.But on saying that I wash my hair every other day. Because if I don't it becomes unmanageable

The pros: My hair feels soft and clean (no gunk residue), it is demi-permanent (which I prefer), it 100% covered my grays, there is no trace of orange or red, my hair is very shiny, and the color is the closest its been to my natural hair color probably ever - which I've tried (unsuccessfully) to achieve from box color many times. The cons: It was quite a bit messier than I’m used to (but I didn’t stain anything, so that’s ok). And it is very dark which isn't necessarily a con, I’m just still getting used to it. Overall - I'm pretty darn impressed.

ok for a touch up

I was rather unhappy receiving only the root touch up kit (I was previously given color sets which contained bottles for my roots and ends). My color has a heavy red/violet tint to it so it fades and with REALLY long hair I prefer to color all of my hair to help refresh the red/violet tone. I was hoping during the final rinse using the extra color it would refresh the color overall, but it did nothing.

The product is good and the color was what I expected. The only problem the cap on the liquid color leaked out everywhere during shipping. I was able to get enough out of the bottle to add to the mix for coloring since I have short hair. Recommend a more secure way of sealing the cap so it won't leak for future shipments. :)

Followed instructions but it seems like the dye for the ends didn't stick at all. The roots color seemed to hold a bit.
Edit:roots took well but ran out of dye for the bottom so the dye is uneven and hard to see.

I specifically told them no permanent color but they unbeknownist to me started to send permanent. I only realized when my hair was darker on the ends. Then I said send no more and they still sent it anyway. Now I am stuck with a product I have no use for. They do not answer when told cancel cancel.

Ich habe dieses Set zunächst ausprobiert und war mit dem Ergebnis nicht wirklich zufrieden. Daraufhin habe ich mich an eSalon gewendet und es wurde nach Absprache mithilfe von Fotos ein neues Farbset erstellt. Die Ansatzfarbe und eine zusätzliche Farbe für die Längen wurden mir kostenfrei zugeschickt. Das nenne ich mal S E R V I C E und Z U F R I E D E N H E I T S G A R A N T I E, nicht nur geschrieben sondern erlebt !!!

die Farbe ist schön und deckt gut. Dennoch zu viel Teile in der Packung, die einzeln verpackt sind, also zu viel Müll. Das geht bestimmt besser. Erste Lieferung preislich ok. Anschlusslieferung kostet das Doppelte und das ist zu viel. Ich bekomme jetzt noch einmal neu, weil ich beim Abo nicht aufgepasst habe, aber fast 30 Euro für einmal Haare Färben, no, das ist mir viel zu teuer. Da werde ich wohl wieder zum Kaufhaus gehen. Warum müssen an und für sich gute Ideen direkt an der Geldgier der Macher scheitern?

I love this color kit, I’d recommend this to anyone, but I have very thick hair and the bottles are not big enough for my hair. I only color the roots. I’ll still use it but wish I could buy a larger size.

Sehr schöne Farbe...
Etwas umständlich den Anweisungen zu folgen, aber ok.
Am Ansatz ist ein schöner braunton. Der Rest meiner Haare ist eher Richtung schwarz gegangen.. Also, dort wo vorher mal goldbraun drauf war, sieht etwas komisch aus.. Ich denke mal, ich muss zu dunkleren Farben greifen, oder wie bekomme ich den schwarzton weg bzw dunkeldunkelbraun..
Ansonsten waren eure Produkte wie conditioner und shampoo mega.. Haare fühlen sich weich an..

The last few times I’ve ordered coloring, I have noticed that after about three weeks, my grays are showing up. I literally wash my hair only twice a week, and don’t use any heat or styling devices. My hair is permed, it has been so for several years. I’m a little disappointed in this.

I dyed my hair a beautiful red. Got a lot of compliments on it- but now the ends and middle are this brass rose gold color with my root a vibrant red. They just didn’t fade the same. It still looks ok, but I wish they would have faded to a similar color. It also faded pretty quick. I’d say about 2-3 weeks.

The steps were easy to follow. The color was perfect. However, it was not enough product for the amount of hair I have. Some parts didn’t get dyed. As well as, some parts of my bleached hair had a brassy look. So, I’ve talk to my stylist and we are hoping round 2 will work out.

I love how soft this hair product made my hair (going on 2.5 weeks), and like the overall color but the newer hairline grays around my face did not cover very well, and I could see this immediately after coloring my hair. Then within a couple of days, the color washed out in this area altogether and the greys in this area came back as if I didn't color them. I'm using a color spray to correct it, but wish the permanent color covered them. Overall, it is a good product.

I LOVED the color —for the first week and a half. Then it began fading as my usual color does . By the third week it was a very light, light strawberry blond. All I could see is a ghost when I looked in a mirror. For this reason I am canceling future orders. If I am going to pay a higher price for hair color I at least want it to last as long as the least expensive one I used before. This was not the case. Please cancel future shipments.

I like the convenience of having the color shipped right to my front door but I still struggle with good coverage around my hairline and it seems after the first wash or two it seems to turn a bit brassy. I have watched your how to videos trying to get a better coverage but I seem to end up with gray showing around my temples.

My hair is really quite dark and over the years I have had quite the struggle, coloring it. If I try to go lighter (which of course I always do) it turns orange, or in some cases purple.
Seeing as I had terrible results with in home box color I started going to the salon. Paying at least 300 bucks per visit. Somehow with all that money I was never quite happy with the end results. I mean it was close enough and it covered my now graying head well so I kept doing it. Even when my hair started to look dry and damaged. I found eSalon purely by chance through an ad online during the lock down last spring and I was sceptical. I can safely say now that I will never go back to the salon. My hair is healthy shiny and a color I have only dreamed of!!! Let's not forget that it costs a fraction of what I was paying for a "meh" color job at a salon. I will never use anything else ever again. It's easy, they have professionals that make the color for "your" hair, and your desired outcome!!! Did I mention its affordable!! Please dont take my word for it check it out!

I’m naturally a brunette but have enough gray that I decided to medium ash blonde. Usually I pick up a couple of the better hair color brands at the drugstore to accomplish this. Cue the pandemic and getting out of the house is less appealing so I decided to try eSalon. I liked the question process although I had to ‘trick’ it to get the lighter blonde color I wanted. Otherwise everything has turned out well. The color is a bit red, almost strawberry blonde, but I think a toner will fix that. Definitely a good purchase!

I love the color that was prepared for me. The hair wasn’t dry after the application either. I took one star off because there was strong chemical smell while I was mixing the color.
For new buyer, you need a bowl to mix in your color because it is too thick to shake it in the bottle like the store/drugstore bought.

Applied according to instructions but unfortunately my roots are noticeably more coppery that rest of hair.
Still a lovely colour but annoying as the last batch had evened my hair out, so a bit disappointed. I can only assume that the 30 mins on roots, 3’mins on rest of hair timing is a bit out. Would be good to get some advice on how to fix this or at least avoid it happening next time. X

I haven't colored my hair in at least 6 years, probably 10 for two reasons. One, the salon cost $100 after tip and my roots were back in so soon - I hated the skunk look, which seemed to last longer than the new color. Secondly, I started to do it myself with box color from the stores, and the look after two weeks was awful, different shades and it seemed to just never match. For the first time, and I waited a few weeks before writing this review, there is no root discolor, or basically eSalon gave me a perfect match. Thank you eSalon for such a great match! I chose the semi permanent because as the grays come in they seem more natural and blended as if I wasn't coloring my hair at all. I also think that it is gentler on my baby fine hair. I love this product and will continue to use it. Once again thank you eSalon!

Color faded quickly

Five weeks after I used the second application (the new adjusted color) I noticed a small section of my gray hair was already faded. Not just the roots but the entire piece. Since I have already received the 3rd shipment, I will use the product once more, but I would like to cancel my subscription as of now. I will have my hair dresser do the color in the future.

The color was great, but dear God, the fumes! I like the color, but may need to go darker. The one thing that was really notable were the fumes. Much worse than what I had been using. I’m not sure if that will be a deterrent from having me use this product again.
