I've always had the indulgence of having my hair stylist daughter color my hair. When she started saying "I'm too busy mom", I took the hint. I read about e salon and decided to give it a try. Turns out it was one of the best decisions I made about my hair color delimma.

What is there not to like? The price is great, and the quality of results is amazing. My hair is healthy, shiny, and by using the multi-tonal custom color, my gray is covered and it even looks as if I have subtle highlights! I love my eSalon color!

This is the best hair color I've ever used! All store bought products left my hair different shades. The color wouldn't color my gray roots. Esalon does. It leaves all my hair the same shade. It covers my gray and it lasts longer. I've even been told that my hair looks so healthy!! I'm recommending it to my friends and family. It's a bit more expensive but it's worth it. But it's cheaper than going to a salon.

This hair color is rich and salon grade. I was pleasantly

I have loved my experience with eSalaon. The product delivers long lasting color and coverage of greys. I use a soft black shade which is rich and leaves my hair feeling lush and full of shine. I love the package, it has everything I need! I get two pairs of gloves, a stain remover, and shampoo & conditioner. And I like how they put my name on the front of the box.
I will also speak to the quality of their customer service. I have used the e-mail option and have had quick responses to my questions. Another time I called because I had questions about products and the CSR was able to answer my questions knowledgeably. I felt like she could have encourage me to buy the product I called to ask about, but quite the opposite. She asked me some questions and determined that the product was not necessary.
All in all 10 out of 10 for me, all way around.

I have been using this product since 2012 and I have not had a bad experience yet. It works so beautifully. I like the idea of shampooing it out in the shower. I have a neck injury and this helps a great deal. I don't have to go to a salon to get a beautiful coloring job done. The coloring is a perfect match every time. I like not having worry about finding the right color and knowing that all I have to do is go on line to order or change my color with consultation.

I absolutely LOVE how eSalon has matched my color and how great my hair looks every single time I use it.

I have been searching for a good home hair color to save money from going to the salon. I think Allure Magazine endorsed this product. I have been using it for the last 6 months to cover my gray hair which is 50%! One of your colorists helped me find the perfect formula. The product is delivered monthly. This custom hair color is awesome, far beyond my expectations. The instructions were easy as 1, 2, 3. I was concerned about the amount of gray hair I had, but it disappeared and every strand was evenly colored. The color matching was exactly what I requested. My regular hairstylist was impressed and thought I had my hair professionally colored. There are only 5 stars but I'm giving this product a perfect 10!!

My hair color has never looked better. My hair is soft and shinny. And its easy and fun to do. It never feels dry or straw like which can happen with store bought hair color kits. I'm impressed and that's not easy to do. I'll be a returning client for as long as need be. And they always keep you updated and you always know when your new color kit is arriving. As I brand my hair is in great condition and the colour really stays. For me it was far far to dark and have been trying to wash it out with clarifying shampoo so that its becomes lighter again.

Cannot review this order since the bottle will not open. Total waste of $33+ I had four people try to get this open and no one could. It’s like it’s fused together. There is absolutely no opening it. Had everything set up and couldn’t do it. So disappointing

Ich hatte eine Farbe bestellt die am Bilschirm aussah wie 7C. Nach dem färben sehen meine Haare leider aus wir 6RC was mir viel zu rot ist.

Eines Tages empfahl mir die Schwester meines Freundes eure Seite, da sie schon seit langer Zeit ihre Haare hier färbt. Aufgrund ihrer Empfehlung und ihrer Erfahrung habe ich schließlich das Risiko auf mich genommen – was für eine katastrophale Entscheidung!
Ich habe mich exakt an die Anleitung gehalten (ich habe sie sogar mehrmals komplett durchgelesen, um alles möglichst sicher zu machen). Und was war das Ergebnis? Mein Haar war fleckig – in vier verschiedenen Rottönen – und in der Mitte meines Kopfes, genau dort, wo es jeder sieht, hatte ich einen riesigen ORANGENEN Fleck!
Und das Schlimmste? Meine grauen Haare waren IMMER NOCH WEISS! All die Mühe, die Recherche und der Versuch führten nur dazu, dass mein Haar ruiniert wurde – fleckig, orange-rot – und die grauen Haare blieben einfach sichtbar.
Die „Lösung“? Ich musste 175 € in einem Notfalltermin beim Friseur zahlen, damit dieses Desaster wenigstens ein wenig kaschiert wurde.
Wenn ich eines mit Sicherheit sagen kann, dann: Geht lieber direkt zu einem Profi! Es lohnt sich absolut nicht, hier Geld sparen zu wollen – denn die Korrektur der Schäden durch diese Farbe hat mich fast 200 € gekostet

Die Haarfarbe ist sehr schön geworden aber meine Haare sind seid dem auch sehr trocken. Die Pflege Produkte die dabei waren sind mir nicht intensiv genug gewesen. Die Verpackung fand ich sehr schön und die Verarbeitung der der Farbe war auch total angenehm.

Das Haarfärbeset ist sehr gut verpackt und mit einer detaillierten Beschreibung angekommen…
Das Ansatzset habe ich genau so aufgetragen wie angegeben. Die Einwirkzeit von 15 Minuten habe ich exakt eingehalten, und dann die Coloration in die Längen gegeben. Diese habe ich weitere 10 Minuten +10 Minuten einwirken lassen… Danach noch 5 Minuten mit etwas Wasser eingeschäumt.
Das Ergebnis in den Längen war gleichmäßig und gut gefärbt.
Das Ergebnis am Haaransatz war leider nicht gleichmäßig, die grauen Ansätze waren leider noch zu sehen…

Dunkler als gewünscht, hatte auch ungewollt einen leichten Kupfer- statt Gold-Stich, aber gute Grauhaarabdeckung. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass die Farbe die Haarstruktur stark beansprucht. Die Spitzen haben sich sehr trocken angefühlt nach der Coloration. Guter Kundensupport, deshalb gebe ich der Farbe nochmal eine Chance.

I didn't notice a difference in my hair colour after use. I've dyed my hair at home previously and followed all the instructions, but the dye didn't take. Wanted to love it! Customer service was great.

Ich habe eure als sehr gut beschriebene Haarfarbe aufgetragen und mußte nach 7,8 Tagen feststellen das mein Ansatz schon wieder ergraute.
Hatte mir mehr und ne Verbesserung erhofft im Vergleich zu Drogerieproduken.
Den Preis finde ich deshalb viel zu hoch und möchte eine weitere Zustellung hiermit kündigen .

Sadly this has been an ongoing problem in the past despite my notes to my colorist, even after adjustments. My roots are dark and my ends are bright bright bright orange. I would like to think I can provide my results and pictures and trust that the colorist is making adjustments correctly. That does not seem to be the case and it’s getting worse. I truly love the idea of managing my own hair color and touch ups rather than going to a salon but I’m at my wits end.

This is a great solution for those seeking a quick hair dye. The color options are professional and appealing. I'm satisfied with the product; my hair feels smooth and undyed. The presentation is lovely and personalized, and I highly recommend it. I'll certainly reorder.
However, the color was darker than expected, resembling a deep brown rather than the anticipated soft chocolate tone. The ash and mahogany nuances were less visible, resulting in a predominantly dark shade.
For my next purchase, I'd appreciate a consultation with the colorist to find my ideal shade.

I like E salon in almost every way, except that the color isn't exactly as I want it.
However, I will say that I will continue to order this color (it's almost there!) because I love the ease of ordering.
The shampoo and conditioner is fabulous and my hair doesn't feel dry after coloring.
I like how everything is custom labelled.
Most importantly, it doesn't irritate my scalp so I presume there's not too many nasty chemicals in there, which is one of my main reasons for purchasing.
I always go with Natural color tints from a health store.

Farbe diesmal weniger gelb aber nach 2 Wäschen kommt der Haaransatz in grau wieder raus wie bei einer Tönung.

Da ich mir die Haare lieber selbst färbe, als stundenlang im Salon zu sitzen, wollte ich die personalisierte Haarfarbe mal probieren. Schon beim ersten Mal verschwand mein grauer Ansatz nicht. Da ich aber die Anwendung sehr gut fand (es roch gut, fühlte sich gut an, ließ sich gut verarbeiten), bat ich um eine Änderung der Rezeptur mit meinem Anliegen, dass die grauen Haare nicht gefärbt wurden. Aber auch beim zweiten Mal konnte ich keine Veränderung feststellen. Das ist sehr schade, da dies der Hauptgrund für mein Haarefärben ist.
Für mich kommt ESalon leider nicht in Frage.

Ich war zunächst begeistert, als es hieß, hier würden qualitativ hochwertige Produkte verkauft. Allein schon der Bestellprozess macht einen professionellen Eindruck. Extra perfekt abgestimmte Farbe für mich? Ich fügte sogar ein Foto hinzu, damit extrakt meine Naturhaarfarbe nachgefärbt werden konnte. Das Paket kam an, die Produkte darin sahen schön aus, sogar mit meinem Namen versehen. Doch auf den 2. Blick sah es mehr wie eine günstige Farbe aus dem Drogeriemarkt, nur hübsch verpackt aus. Und so war es dann auch. Nach dem Färben, nach Anleitung, war meine Haarfarbe überhaupt nicht wie gewünscht. Ich habe nun einen Rotstich, wobei ich keinen bestellt hatte. Wozu dann das Foto? Ich habe mich natürlich an den Support gewendet aufgrund der Zufriedenheitsgarantie, aber ein passender Ersatz wird nicht geliefert. Ich erhalte eine Gutschrift (im Wert meiner Bestellung, welcher ein Aktionspreis war) und darf neu bestellen (zum teureren Preis). Das werde ich sicherlich nicht. Sehr enttäuschend.

Ich habe 2021 zum erstenmal von esalon meine Haarfarbe bestellt und war begeistert es war Pflegend und die Farbpigmente waren strahlend,habe sehr viele Komplimente für meine glänzende Haare und schöne Haarfarbe bekommen und selbstverständlich habe esalon stolz weiter empfohlen. I picked my new color off of the chart opting for the Darkest Brown in hopes to just had a little red/copper to my color however with how much it lightened it’s as if I select the Dark Brown in the same red/copper tone. Definitely lightened way more than I wanted.

I love how if I don’t like the color a colorist will listen to me and adjust to my liking. ESalon is really the best all the way around. Unlike most hair coloring products it has a mild fragrance and my hair feels great looks great!

I really liked that my hair did not have a "pink" tint after coloring. The "strawberry" color did not seem to last, however and I was left with mostly blond. The color that I was previously using, L'Oreal 8RB Medium Redish Blond mixed half & half with 8G Medium Golden Blond, resulted in what I thought was a pink tint for about a week, but then transformed in to a great mix of strawberry and blond locks. I want to keep the latter without the week of pink.

Guten Tag, ich habe bei Ihnen meine persönliche Haarfarbe bestellt, die ich ja auch erhalten habe. Es wurde, da ich Erstbestellerin war im Doppelpakt geliefert. Ich war sehr gespannt darauf, wie das Ergebnis aussehen wird. Nach der ersten Coloration war ich mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Heute habe ich nun die 2. Packung der Coloration angewendet und bin mehr als entsetzt. Meine sonst gewollte und gefärbte Haarfarbe war immer Schokobraun. Jetzt ist die ganze Kopfhaut und der Haaransatz rot. So kann ich es nicht lassen und muss morgen nachfärben. Also werde ich wieder die Haarfarbe in der Drogerie kaufen. Zufriedenheit ist etwas anderes. Ich verlange mein Geld zurück. Ich gebe Ihnen negative Kritik.

El kit es muy bueno! Realmente no me dura mucho , con el primer lavado las canas ya se ven mucho más claras y tengo que usarlo cada 3 semanas, divido en 2 y solo me paso en las raices. Me gustaría que dure más para no dañar tanto el cabello.

I loved how everything was packaged, easy to follow instructions… this was my first time trying and really made a mistake trying something new right before a trip. I followed the instructions completely but ended up with brass colored roots! For context my hair is black and I was supposed to receive a blue black. And I lost so much hair in the shower to top it off! I have been dying my own hair for years and never had an issue. I spoke to a hair professional and she said no way I received true blue black color as my roots wouldn’t have turned this color. I usually don’t write reviews especially bad ones but felt the need to say something. I love the formula and step by step instructions. The custom shade made my hair a more true version of my natural colour.
I am bummed out the roots demi permanent colour did not cover greys very well.
I don't know if I should leave the root formula on for longer to process. Help!

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! It took awhile for me to adjust doing my own hair coloring. I stopped going to salons when I realized I was spending over $2,000 a year on salon visits. Using eSalon wasnt working at first on my gray roots, after discussing with them the adjustments they made have been very successful!! I am vey happy with this product! Anfangs war es ein wunderbares Kupferrot. Nur mit jedem Waschen verliert es an Intensivität. Bin etwas enttäuscht, da es wunderbar aussah. Jetzt ist es eher einer rosa mit kuferton. 😕

Aus bestelltem Blauschwarz ist am Ende kein Blauschwarz geworden schade. Färbe mir seit Jahren die Haare selbst mit günstiger Farbe aus dem Supermarkt. (Immer blauschwarz) Das Farb Ergebnis ist dabei aus dem Supermarkt definitiv besser. Die Lieferung schnell schön verpackt es ist alles dabei was Mann als Laie braucht. Am Ende sind die Haare eher rötlich braun schon nach dem auswaschen anstatt blauschwarz und graue Haare sind auch noch zu sehen. Sehr schade habe es wie angegeben verwendet. War auf der Suche nach einer besseren Alternative als Supermarkt wo die Haare jedesmal trotz permanent Haarfarbe nach wenigen Wäschen schon ausgewaschen rötlich schimmern.

I was so excited to finally color my hair with Esalon as it was a custom color formulated especially for me! I even sent pics of my hair so what could go wrong? Well, everything did. I am a natural blonde turning gray with natural and added highlights. I go to a salon to highlight my hair 2 to 3 times a year and have only used Claroil Perfect 10 at home to cover my greys in between my highlights. Perfect 10 left my hair incredibly soft and shiny and accented my highlights. Sadly it was discontinued and I was hoping Esalon would take its place. As soon as I finished my first 20 minutes of coloring I could see my hair getting darker but I still hoped for the best. After I rinsed my color and used the enclosed shampoo and conditioner, my fine hair was extremely dry and impossible to comb out. I then rewet my hair and applied a deep conditioner for 15 minutes which helped comb out my tangles and restored some softness. I literally burst out in tears when I dried my hair. The color was not what I expected at all. It was the darkest shade that my hair has ever been and the color is now somewhere between dark extreme ash blonde and light extreme ash brown with orangey tones; it's horrible! My hair was one of my finest feature and every time I look in the mirror I get extremely upset. This whole ordeal was devastating and I do not know how I am going to get through the holidays as a quasi-brunette. Will my friends and family even recognize me as when I look in the mirror , I don't.

Ich war zunächst skeptisch, aber jetzt bin ich restlos vom e-Salon überzeugt. Ich habe meine Traumfarbe bekommen, so, wie ich sie früher hatte. Friseur oder Drogerie, kein Produkt hat mich zu 100% überzeugt. Ein ganz großes Kompliment an die Mitarbeiter des e-Salons.
PS: Die Kopfhaut brennt gar nicht, die Farbe ist super verträglich.

Love the kit- Second time I have problems opening the bottle.

I'm going to add my experience with the two last kits I received, first one I had a hard time opening the blue cap bottle and I had to ask my husband to do it and he had problems too, it was a mess and I lost time and couldn't use the whole mix. Now the second time is the same but I can't get help opening the bottle so I stuck with all the prep work and waste of time because of this, I'm very upset because it is my ME time and I have so few of those, completely ruin my day and I can't even color my hair, I hope you take care of this issue because I don't think I'm the only one.

I really love my color, looks really natural and it has the golden tones I wanted. As a first time, the kit is different from the box you buy at the market but I enjoyed the experience of taking my time to make it just right, it is a lovely presentation and all the personal details make you feel special. I got an email asking about the results and I'd say it is totally worth it.

I really liked the color they sent and it was easy to apply. I had my daughter help so I didn't miss anything. Ever since I have used it though my hair is extremely dry no matter what I do to it. Very reluctant to color any time soon,

Everytime I have used the priduct my hair falls during the process. Not in clumps, but it is a decent amount. I am jot saying that this is common, but it jusst doesn't seem to be. Great fit for me.

If you feel you have been losing significantly more than this, you may have had an allergic reaction. Barely any change, and the colour it did leave is awful

I wanted so badly to like this, I was so excited to add a coppery tone to my medium brown hair.
Let me also start by saying that as a brunette, I knew the colour wouldn’t be a vivid ginger. However, this product somehow managed to not only transfer hardly any colour at all, but has in fact made my overall hair darker! I wanted a warm, gingery copper, and made a note asking please don’t give any purple or wine tint.
But that’s exactly what I got. My hair is now even darker than before and in the light it is dark purple! The directions were also misleading, and maybe this is where I went wrong. The roots needed 15 minutes to develop according to my instructions, but I have a lot of hair so it took me a long time to actually finish with them anyway. And then, it took me longer than 15 minutes to coat my ends, so by the time I had, I was worried about my roots over developing and yet there was no information/time to let my ends saturate.
I’m so disappointed, I was so excited for a new change. I want a refund.

I ask for a color to match the white gray coming in and was colored a blonde instead. Lately the colors have not been the best shades. But I just use it as I do not have the time to do all this reporting.
But I have seen a difference as when I first started. Not soo happy anymore.

The color was a perfect match. I colored on May 3rd. Gray already coming back. Didn't last 6 weeks, barely made.
7/19/2022: I received the the color and dyed my hair. This one works perfectly for me. The adjustment made to my personalized color was great. I would recommend eSalon to anyone that would like to use a color perfectly designed for them.
ADDENDUM:
I colored my hair again on July 9th withthelatestadjustmentmade to my color. I thought the color was supposed to last for six weeks, it barely made 3 weeks. Can't even part or pull back my hair without grays. I still have 1 to use, but it's the same as the one I just used. I think I'll just go back to what I've been using.

I've been a long time customer and at first I thought it was my imagination but I can see that the formula has definitely changed. Barely covers my gray hairs any more and the color used to last 3 to 4 weeks, now I'm lucky if it lasts 2 weeks. Unfortunately, it's just not the same. I hate to leave a negative review because you got me through the pandemic without having to show my gray hair growth. Thank you for that. I will also say your customer service is amazing!

I was super excited to try this product because I have had a positive experience with their at-home highlights kits! I have been washing my hair with salon-quality shampoo and conditioner made for colored hair, but my color is still viably washing out of my hair. My scalp and top sections have lightened significantly since using the permanent color on my hair. I will have to touch up my hair sooner than I expected.
