Came in nice packaging. Clear instructions and well thought out products with everything possible that would be needed to colour your hair. I was a bit worried as my esalon advisor recommended an altered colour and even when I was putting it on the colour looked too dark for my roots compared to the rest of my hair. However , when it was completed and my hair was dried and styled it was a complete match! I was really pleased!

Let me preface by saying, I have NEVER colored by own hair. I was always scared it would come out orange or some weird color. I answered the online questions, uploaded a picture of myself - easy. My husband was eager to apply the color. He does pride himself on doing a great job. He was just as nervous so he started on the back of my head and by the time he reached the front he felt pretty confident. He will be applying it again for me!

Received my custom color and finally pulled the trigger on doing it myself. Since my last color was in February, I was sorely in need of doing my roots and sprucing up my fading color. Color was easy to apply and it came out great. Hair was super soft and all the gray was gone. Thanks so much for a great product.

This is honestly the best at home hair color I have ever used. I’ve been coloring my hair at home for years and have tried many different color products. I have a bit of grey and this color covers it perfectly. I use dark brown (golden). It’s a beautiful rich and a shiny chestnut brown. It doesn’t fade and lasts longer than any other product that I’ve used in the past.

Been using eSalon for several years, which has saved me sooo much money from salons. 😊 I get great color now, just miss having someone to help me apply the color. Oh well. BTW, if you haven't seen them, the How-To videos for applying color by yourself are very helpful (especially for those with long hair).
Overall I'm very happy with the custom color sets. As my skin and hair changes with aging, I have tweaked the color with eSalon's help. This you can't really do that with boxed hair color kits.

I am so happy I found eSalon and tried your system for home hair coloring. Instructions were complete, I got the result I was hoping for. I was reluctant to pick up a box of hair dye at the local pharmacy for fear it would be the wrong color and possibly damage my hair. Thank you eSalon!

I was sceptical that I would achieve the same standard of colour and coverage as my salon. But, I did, and at a quarter of the price too. It was easy to apply to my shoulder length hair (with a little help for the back section). I am three weeks in and the colour is still vibrant and greys haven't even started to peep through. Nice touch to provide all the little extras such as shampoo, conditioner, wipes and a free brush. Have recommended to a bunch of my friends.

It’s all here, beautifully packaged, thoughtfully organized, directions clear and straightforward. Esalon anticipated my every need, down to the smallest detail. The directions, which come with a sticky note so I can attach them to my mirror, are printed in font large enough I don’t need my cheaters. The extra set of disposable gloves are a nice safety net for us novice home colorists. I have very thick hair and I had product to spare. Bonus, it actually smelled ok! I’ve placed my second order, with a newfound confidence in home coloring. Saving money, loving my hair, thank you esalon!

I can’t rave enough about this service! This is the third time I’ve ordered and I just love love love my hair color! We went with a medium coppery/Auburn with chocolate undertones and it looks better and better each time I do my subscription order. Looks like I paid way more than I actually did ❤️

I have not had good results with at home coloring, especially trying to pick out the right shade. But since everything is shut down & my stylist was unavailable during this time I decided to take a chance - having heard good reviews on Facebook. The colorists at esalon were able to match my shade exactly! The tutorials were super helpful and I was able to cover all my grays successfully. Thanks esalon!

I was not expecting this hair colour to be very good based on past experiences with home colouring. I was very impressed how good it was. The packaging, instructions and all you need was there! I love that it was personalised for me. I needed help applying colour to the back of my head but the overall experience was great.
The colour looked amazing like I had just left a salon. Even after isolation, I will continue to colour my hair at home!!

I was hesitant to dye my own hair, but with the global pandemic, I was desperate to get a spring back into my step. I ordered this kit, and the color I selected was almost a perfect match for what Color I normally dye my hair (very vibrant purple). The shipping was delayed a little, but the kit arrived and was very easy to use.
Make sure you read the tips online in addition to the instructions that arrive. There’s a few differences online versus the handout that will help make the application easier.
Absolutely cover yourself in the stain guard—Hair dye gets everywhere despite your best intentions. You’ll also need an extra wipe if you make a mess (I used baby wipes after I used the complimentary wipe in the kit).
Make sure you are in a well ventilated space as well. Although I love the dye, it made my husband feel a little woozy.
DEFINITELY worth the price if you’re willing to put the work in!

Super Haarfarbe und ganz tolle, nützliche sehr hilfreiche "Helferlein" wie Ansatzschutz, Reinigungstüchlein etc. Das Farbresultat war genau so, wie ich es mir gewünscht habe und es bislang kaum ein Frisör hinbekommen hat. Alles perfekt! Und: auch der Preis stimmt! Wenn es nun auch mit meinem Abo klappt und die nächste Haarfarben-Lieferung pünktlich eintrifft, dann ist esalon wirklich unschlagbar!

I have red hair with a lot of um blonde/white in it - especially around the face. I didn’t want a flat color. I wanted something that would look extremely natural. I don’t need root coverage - just for strips of my Bonnie raitt white. I also haven’t colored my hair much over my 53 years cause I didn’t think anybody could give me the depth and variations that are in my natural color. This was an incredible experience. Not only is the color fantastically natural - they matched my photo exactly - but I can apply it where I need with a q tip which ensures I keep my variations. I am so very impressed. Thank-you!
