I am always hesitant to color my own hair because I never apply it to all needed areas and I make a mess. However, there are many things I loved about this experience. The quality of the product is great. The colorist did a fantastic job matching what I wanted. Instructions were very clear. Being able to apply the color with a brush instead of dispensing from a bottle helped with applying the color and there was so much less cleanup.

My husband applied this for me using bowl and brush. First time for both of us but was easy to apply and the coverage was excellent. I have very resistant grey at the side and front of my head and I couldn’t believe the result. Hair felt soft and shiny too - I would have no hesitation using this product again or recommending it to others. Excellent product - thank you

Such an awesome experience. I have been coloring my own hair with boxed hair color since I was 17. I have never had my hair done at the salon. This product left my hair feeling so healthy and still feeling healthy. The directions were extremely easy to follow!

Loved it, my first time using this product, great directions included. The odor wasn’t too strong, the shampoo and conditioner worked great to wash out, my hair felt soft and smelled good. The stain remover didn’t really work at all for me. Overall great investment.

I haven’t colored my hair in years! When it came down to coloring or cutting bangs I went with the safer...coloring! In the past I would pick a color I loved but when I was done it was never the shade I wanted. 2 weeks later I would get that shade. This time using esalon..WOW! For my first at home color experience I was extremely pleased and satisfied. My daughter colored my roots. The instructions were flawless, everything I needed was included and it was surprisingly easy. The product itself did not smell or burn , my grays are covered and my hair feels fabulous and soft . Decided to give e-salon a go and I'm so happy .Hubby and I followed instructions ,very easy to do and the end result was exactly what I wanted .

Ich bin absolut begeistert :) Danke an meine Coloristin Aline :) Da es zur Zeit fast unmöglich ist einen Termin beim Friseur in der Stadt zu bekommen, habe ich mich spontan für das Home-Färben von eSalon entschieden. Mein Ansatz war extrem heraus gewachsen seit Februar. Jetzt, nach der Färbung, sieht das Haar wieder frisch aus und total natürlich. Super Ergebnis. Was richtig gut wäre, wenn man noch ein leeres, zusätzliches Färbefläschchen im Set dabei hätte, zumindest nur bei Ansatzfärbungen. Ich benötigte lediglich die halbe Coloration und musste den Rest wegwerfen :( Ansonsten alles top!

I used eSalon’s online tool to find the perfect color for my hair. A color consultant reached back to me and recommended another color. They did send that color. I used it and am 100% satisfied! The process is well written out so I could Understand the instructions. They even personalize with your name. I I am very pleased and have recommended to many of my friends. I will definitely use this again. This was my first time. I looked at others but saw some negative reviews and that’s why I chose eSalon!

I was extremely happy with my first purchase. Freddy was very helpful with the color match. The directions were very thorough and easy to follow . My color covered my grays great. For my first time it was a bit challenging to do the back of my head so I think I will try it with the bottle instead of the brush . I will definitely be on the reorder list for next shipment. Really liked my second repeat order where I was able to give feedback to adjust the color to suit me. I was able to go slightly darker and more importantly reduce the red/ cooper tone that my hair is prone to. I also notice how the color keeps so much better than my previous shop-bought DIYs. It takes much longer for the greys to return. Thank you. Will be continuing my repeat orders.

My previously dyed shade was a couple shades lighter than my natural color, and had pulled very red. I wanted to get back to a medium brunette that still had some warmth, but more golden than red toned. Somehow, a quiz, a photo of my previously dyed color, and a quick, friendly email correspondence confirming the color I was after got me where I wanted to go on the first try. I’m seriously impressed. White is fully covered, and hair is in great condition. So glad I tried this service!

I am no stranger to home hair dye but I have always found reds tricky. It usually comes out uneven and with super bright roots. I was especially nervous because I have previously dyed hair and then three months of new growth. I was so pleasantly surprised by how this turned out. It looks perfect. Truly don’t think I could have had better in an actual Salon paying five times the price

The color was perfect. The instructions were easy to follow. The shampoo and conditioner left my hair looking amazing! It was a bit hard for me to do the back since I didn't have anyone to help, but I managed to do it right. I may continue using this product instead of paying so much at the salon. I highly recommend this product. In fact, I have already recommended it to various friends.

Was really scared to color my hair by myself. I always left it to the professionals. However, when salons closed because of the pandemic, I did not have a choice. After much research, I ordered from esalon. The experience was very incredible and I FINALLY got the colored hair I have always wanted!! The process was easy. At 49 years old, I have never colored my own hair but after trying eSalon products I wont be going back to my stylist for color anymore. Great product, easy to use and wonderful, rich color going on 8 weeks now. The 1 good thing to happen during all of this crazy going on right now!

I have been having my hair colored professionally at a salon for years. My hair is totally white (premature for my age) and my colorist has often commented how challenging it is to color it red. Red applied to white hair will make it pink so she has mixed different tones in to result in a pleasing red color. During the pandemic, I told her that I was going to try eSalon and do it at home. She was very concerned about this and again warned me how tricky it is to get the color right. I went ahead anyway and loved the result! I sent a picture to my colorist and she agreed it looked fabulous! Thank you eSalon!!

I will never go back to the salon for root touch-ups! This product is just as good, if not better, for a fraction of the cost. I couldn’t believe how they nailed the color, and it left such a great glossy sheen on my hair. I keep singing its praises to all of my girlfriends! I guess some good things have come out of this quarantine.

I finally ordered a custom colour set having plucked up the courage to spend a little more than my usual box colour... and I am so pleased that I did! The process was much easier using an application brush and a bowl, much more precise and, although a little time-consuming, I will get better at doing it with practice. The result was a very natural-looking all over colour, my hair feels in good condition and all the greys have vanished. My hair doesn't look 'one colour', it has a range of tones and hence looks natural. If anyone is hesitating about eSalon custom colour, I would tell them to stop wasting time, get on with it and order a kit! No regrets - it's guaranteed. I am really impressed with the quality and it's so much more affordable than a salon... not that I can go to one right now! Given that I won't be seeing my usual stylist for a cut for another 6 weeks (fingers crossed), I may as well have fabulous-coloured hair. I think she'll be impressed!

I was super skeptical and had never colored my own hair before, but the combo of my choosing what I thought I needed and uploading a photo of myself resulted in a color mix that was spot on! I ended up with a reddish brown that looks very natural. The reason for 4 stars, rather than 5, is because the color seems to fade quickly in the sun.

I was so so scared at first to do my own coloring. I’ve never done my own permanent root coloring so I was super skeptical when I took the leap and purchased this what I now know to be amazing hair color. The only thing I’ve ever really done to my own hair was semi-permanent and it was ALL of my hair. But, man am I glad I chose ESalon! The instructions were step by step, accurate and clear. I usually get a “toner” put on my my stylist in between highlights to preserve and refresh my color while preserving the health of my hair. And once I used this, following step by step, I was THRILLED!!! I was afraid the color wouldn’t match or blend with the rest of my hair or that my highlights would get lost in the shuffle, but nope!! My hair literally looked just as it usually does when I leave the salon!! I’ve gotten so many compliments and no one can believe it came in a bottle that I did myself! Mission accomplished- while on quarantine.. this may have to replace my in between with my stylist from now on! Shhh.. just don’t tell her! The only improvement I’d recommend is maybe putting in a little tube or so of a moisture mask just to give it little bit more silkiness- THANK YOU ESALON!!

Not to much to say, only that i love it. i love it and i love it... my hair is really soft and shine, and pretty much it was the color that i was expecting, even when is NOT great gray coverage, they're shinning like highlights, but i really needed more coverage, at the end this is awesome and the color specialist is amazing with her job! Super happy with how well my color was matched. Great instructions with all the necessary tools. I had plenty of color for my roots and some to pull through if I wanted. My hair felt good afterwards and so far no change in texture. After a few weeks, the grey is still gone and have seen very little fading.

My personalized colour is amazing! The kit was so easy to use my hubs coloured my hair for me! Customer service is excellent too. The colourist I spoke to on the phone was very patient with me and my colour ideas and poor cellphone service I had (I phoned California from Canada). I’m super happy with e salon and can’t wait till my next colour package comes in the mail again!

Great colour match, so easy to apply. Did light set after and very happy with results. Colours lovely, I may need to concentrate a little harder when apply light set as have a few funny patches but colour is soft and will do it again. My husband is at very high risk of dying from the virus and am in lock down until there's a vaccine. I would never attempt to color my hair otherwise. I watched a couple of videos of how to do it, and then gave it a try with the help of Esalon. And I am so glad that I did It!!!. It's given me such a lift. I feel so much happier. With everything else different in my life right now, at least I can still have hair I love!

I have severe hair color allergies. I have tried everything!!! Only color that works is wella koleston but was a pain for my friend to get it for me when I wanted, etc. decided to try this, love it!!!!!! The color is gorgeous every time. I love my colorist, I love the tones. I am hooked!

I finally used my color for the first time (my husband applied it, as he is a hairdresser). I absolutely LOVE it! I couldn’t be happier with the color, coverage and accessories it comes with - brush, shampoo, conditioner, stain remover and stain guard. I will definitely order again and I highly recommend!

After a few mishaps over the lockdown period with box dyes I found esalon, thank goodness. They formulated the colour exactly right for my hair type and it looks amazing. From now on I will only be ordering from esalon as it's such a great service and it comes in beautiful packaging. I put a photo up on my Facebook and lots of women asked for the link as they loved my new copper blonde colour.

I 100% love my color!! I had a similar color in my hair about 4 years ago so I had a point of reference I was aiming for and my colorist hit it out of the ball park!
