I have been using eSalon's product between going to my stylist for the past two years. My stylist is not available due to social distancing, so I have been on my own. Well, not really because eSalon has kept me going. I have lots of grays (40% to 50%) in the front and my custom color set covers them. My hair grows fast, so I like that I can easily color my roots at any time of the day. AND - I just tried highlights for the first time - they worked out great! Perfect for the summertime.

I used my kit today. It took over an hour, a friend helped me color the sides and back of my head. I followed the directions completely. I haven’t had color this good ever!!! It is perfect. Just enough red and copper to give me the color I so desperately want!! Thank you! 😊

I love, love, love my hair color that you make for me. Besides the gorgeous color, I noticed that I am barely shedding any hair now. At 76 years of age I want to be able to keep my thick hair. I found a clip of my hair from when I was in college and compared it to my present color you have made for me and I swear it is exactly the same color. I didn't start coloring my hair until I was in my forties and started getting gray hair. All I have ever wanted to do was color my hair the same color mother nature gave me. For those professional guys who have their hair colored by a professional colorist, I would certainly recommend you try eSalon.
I did and they did a fantastic job of matching up my hair color with a photo.
If you have ever watched your colorist color your gray hair, you can certainly follow the instructions provided, plus watch some videos, as I did. You will NOT be disappointed.
You can also speak with a colorist on the phone, as I also did.
I'm so happy that I took the suggestion from an email and checked into eSalon.

First time using at home color for whole head touch-up. The color choice process was easy to do and the resulting color accurate. It was also nice to have more control over selecting the right shade.

I am very happy with the perfect color made for me for my root touch up. I have never colored my hair before and I am very pleased because it came out perfect! I will be doing my own root touch up every 7 weeks from now on. I will only have to go to salon for highlights and cuts. Money in the bank!

I loved the color golden medium brown. Good lasting gray root coverage. It was the first time I colored my hair and I followed the directions to the tee. Directions easy to understand and I liked taping them to the mirror to follow. Procedure a little messy but now I know what to expect so next session Will be easier.

I was hesitant to try eSalon because I have been going to the salon for the past 5 years for color. Due to the pandemic and the shut down, I was not able to get to the salon and I really needed my hair colored. I’m SO GLAD I tried eSalon! My colorist was great! She was responsive and she put together EXACTLY the color I was looking for. It is a luxury having someone else color your hair, but I have been paying $90 for a solid color at the salon. For $23 I did it at home and achieved my perfect color. I probably won’t be coloring my hair at the salon anymore and will be sticking with eSalon!

I'll admit, I'm blowing up my social media raving about my new color. As a retired hair dresser, I had to let it go and relinquish control, and am so happy with my color. I don't even want to know the magic formula, just keep it coming. I even requested copper😁 and Ya know what, yeah, copper highlights. Thank you!!!

I was nervous about using this way of colouring my hair as I have always attended a salon. I am very pleased as the colour covered all my grey roots (I have very thick, non-porous hair) and the shade was just right. I was also very pleasantly surprised that the shampoo and conditioner supplied are great quality and left my hair soft and shiny!

I must say this product has honestly kept me satisfied.
Silly me I end up ordering from other sites then regret it so bad & end up reordering through esalon. I have no complaints with the colors nor the communication between the colorists and myself.

I am very pleased with results of my first e-salon order. The kit came with absolutely everything to get me started (sachets of skin protector, shampoo, conditioner and a little towellete to remove any stains which I didn't have to use as the protector was so effective!).
There are NO horrible smells to this dye and no stingy eyes! The result was rich and deep colour (using light mahogany) and all grey root hairs were covered. My hair didn't feel dry like it usually does after using off the shelf box colours, even the ends feel soft.
I love the fact that I can adjust the tones of future orders (you will receive follow up shipments depending on how often you state you colour your hair). This means I can change the depths of various tones....I'm asking to add a little more red to my next order as I have much lighter ends, which I know this British Summer is going to fade. (I don't know how to add the before and after pictures I took to this review, which is a shame as the difference is quite amazing!)
A steal at £9 for your first order and more than happy to pay the £18 for future orders. I hate paying salon prices for root top ups so this is the right product for me.
I have been dying my hair for the last 30 years and can honestly say this is the best home colouring kit I have ever used! Try it. You won't be disappointed.

My first color was a little too yellow but after talking with Cyrus she made an adjustment to have more copper in it. It’s perfect. I love the products from this company and they are always ready to help.

This is seriously great; much better than I thought it would be. The color is accurate and shiny. Followed the instructions provided and everything went well. Plus I had a fun time with my mom! Better to get help when you have extra long hair and you are doing this for the first time. Thanks eSalon team!

Im loving my color and how well it covers stubborn gray. Usually I’ve got gray showing within a couple of weeks, but it’s been almost 3 and it hasn’t faded off my hairline & temples. 👍👍

Thank you, Freddie!! I wasn’t sure what I was going to do when quarantine started and my grays began to pop through a month after my last appointment at the salon. My hair color turned out perfect, shiny, and ultra flattering. I think being able to upload a photo is such a smart feature and really helped my colorist create a shade of brown that I’m very happy with! Directions were easy to follow and thoughtfully written. Big relief to know I can count on eSalon until I can make it back to my regular, equally awesome stylist.

I was a little sceptical when ordering as I usually go to a salon to have my hair coloured. I received my parcel and it was so beautifully made with all personalised details and everything that I’d need to colour my hair it was so very well prepared. The colour is beautiful and I’m so happy with the results. I am definitely converted now and will be continuing to use.

Like so many of us during this pandemic, I could no longer endure my color resistant gray roots. Drug store brands had stopped working about 20 years ago. Esalon didn't fail me! My daughter coloured my hair mainly because of the grey roots due to not having had them done for about 11 weeks and what a brilliant job she did too. The colour and application I think is at least up to salon standard if not better.....so pleased with the colour matching service

My first coloring of my grey roots was a bit too light. It was not difficult to apply however I had an assistant (my husband who had never done it before or even seen it done). The team responded right away to me when I said I needed a color adjustment and the second time I did it, a month later, with the new color it seems perfect to me. They answered my questions about the process of application, allowing a few minutes extra for the setting and crafted a minimally darker color and it looks great. I am happy with the way it looks !!

I want to thank the colourist that made my colour up. I have been colouring my hair for decades and have always just bought the normal commercial boxes. They have always done the job, but thats about it. They wash out quickly and always left my hair feeling dry and looking a but dull after the first wash.
This service is such a revelation! Perfect , professional colour every time, when i need it for a fraction of the cost of a salon colour. I loved that i had 2 bottles, dark brown for the roots and a light golden brown for the ends, it perfectly blends together.

I’ve colored my own hair for 20+ years at home. But I’ve never had so many compliments by strangers! People stopping me to tell me they love my hair. People asking if it’s my natural color. I love the color, no horrible smell, easy to use, and a great price. I would normally pay $80 to $120 to get my hair colored at a salon and it would be washed out in 3 weeks. This color has lasted for almost 5 weeks, Whats not to love, great look, price and do it at home! Love it!
