This is the first time I have coloured my hair myself but the experience was a good one. The colourist got my colour perfect on the second time. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and the colourist did everything I asked.

I can’t say enough good about eSalon! I thought I would never be that woman that colored my own hair. I have spent $$$$$ on my hair over the past 40 years! However, I was forced to color my own hair 2 years ago due to physical impairments at the time. I hesitantly ordered from eSalon after reading through several reviews - like hundreds! I was so surprised at how easy they made it. When I received my custom color, I kept reading through the directions to be sure I had all the steps down as it seemed too simple. After I washed the product out of my hair I was honestly shocked at how much I loved the color! It was better than what I had been receiving at the salon! And even better, it lasted longer than it does from the salon. I was having to have my hair colored every 4 weeks as the color had faded so bad. Now I color about every 6 weeks - only because I need to cover the grays. My color doesn’t fade near as fast! I love that I have a professional colorist verify my color with me before every order ships out. And I have it set on auto ship so it comes automatically every six weeks like clockwork. Obviously, I am in love with eSalon! I couldn’t be any happier!

Absolutely love this company. I decided to try dying my hair this way and my stylist sent me exactly what I wanted. I usually cannot go dark( paid many stylist to do) without it washing me out as I am very cool toned. The color I was sent is perfect. Will be doing my hair at home from now on.

Natural, luminous, rich color. I'm sold!!! The gray is totally covered, and my hair feels and looks great. This is my second time using Madison Reed dark blond. I'm getting more skilled at targeting the back of my head, using clips. It's easy and so much more affordable than the salon prices! The color is multi-dimensional, not flat, with natural, subtle highlights. I'm really happy with the results.

I wasn’t sure that attaching a picture but my hair looks right now would actually get me the perfect color. The coverage was great. I had about 4 inches of white hair growth that needed to be covered. The color they chose matched perfectly and so what the coverage. Blended right in to the existing color I had. My hair even felt good after it was colored. I am definitely going to re-order. I kind of feel like I did a better job in my colorist has done in the past.

I’ve have seen so many times your advertisement but would hesitate to try. Now that I have I love the color and it was so Easy to applied. You just gotta give it a try. If you want to save loads of money this is the way to go.

I was hesitant to try eSalon at first, as my hair has a lot of blond highlights and I didn't want to lose them. I spoke with a consultant and she assured me that the dark blond dye would cover my grey while blending well. I didn't want to get too dark, so she gave me some pro tips on how to do it. I was still skeptical, but the results are so much better than I anticipated. The color covered the grey and blended so well you would never know I use color. It also left my hair soft and not too dry. I'm very happy with it!

I have hard to cover gray and I also really like my natural hair color- E salon somehow mixed the perfect color, it's the color my hair was when I was 25. I was so happy when I saw the results. I ordered the optional coloring kit for the first time, which came with the bowl, clips, brush and a very nice timer. Because I have so much gray brushing in gave me the best coverage. When I was finished, my hair looked and felt professionally done. I am so very happy with e color- my only regret is that I will miss my colorist.

I have always used store bought boxed colors. I thought I was using good quality products until I gave eSalon a try. Oh my goodness!! The outcome for my hair is absolutely beautiful!! The shine and color is fantastic!! So natural and it lasts so much longer. I love it so much and I am never going back to store bought again!! They really are the best I have ever used and I have used a lot. I often wished I could have the shine I have seen in other hair and now I have it and then some. Try it and you won't want to stop.

The colour was better than I expected and left my hair in wonderful shiny condition. I loved the way my colour had my name on the bottle... That was a lovely personal touch. When my salon opens again, I'll still do my own colour. Thank you ladies.

First of all the packaging is wonderful..everything you need carefully contained in little boxes and even a poem.! I followed everything as stated and it was all so easy...included was a timer .. I have cool lightest blonde and it is great.. through lockdown I had 2 inches regrowth with some grey and now a beautiful very natural all over colour thank you Paul! Highly recommend

My colorist did a wonderful job! I am so happy with the color and have had several compliments, such as, “ Did you do something different to your hair? I’m not sure what it is but it looks great.” exactly what I was looking for! The only thing I would change is to have a better explanation upfront that there is one color for roots and one for ends, and how that works. It was confusing for me as I went through the initial questionnaire.

I've had so many people ask me if my salon was open since they noticed my grey was gone. I was very happy to tell them about esalon and the great results and support I got. Absolutely amazed with the results! I was sceptical about how good this could be as I have used so many home dyes before but always end up at the salon, needing a professional to fix my hair! This has by far exceeded my expectations! From the great packaging, to the easy to follow instructions to the gorgeous smell and amazing shine, what’s not to love?! I asked for light brown and that’s what I got but my goodness it’s the most gorgeous colour I’ve ever had! If you are in doubt, go for it, you won’t regret it!

I want to tell you that I really love the new formula in the color kit! It is a thick yet smooth combination that was easy to apply. I really loved the new shampoo and conditioner in the kit also. The coverage is wonderful and it doesn't fade. The color has taken years off my looks. I know this because of all the compliments I receive. And, it is so easy to apply!!

This company is amazing. My dyeing process has never been easier, or cleaner! My colorist, Yvette, absolutely nailed it! After the first order, I had a big issue with the color. She called me personally to address it, and sent a complementary bottle to correct it. Now, my new formula is perfect! I receive compliments on the color constantly. I highly recommend this company, i'll never go back to Sally's hair dyes again!

Custom color makes a difference, especially for previously lightened hair

I hadn't dyed my own hair in over a decade when I ordered my custom color set, so I was definitely a little nervous about how it would turn out! I had grown out balayage that had become pretty brassy overtime. My natural hair color is golden medium brown and the custom color I ordered is about 2-3 shades darker than my natural color, so I was just wanting to go back to what I had before. I'm so thankful that my eSalon colorist reached out a few days after I placed my order to let me know they were including Colorfill in my kit for free. Apparently if I'd dyed the pre-lightened part of my hair without using the Colorfill on it first, it likely would have turned out with a greenish tinge. I'm so glad my colorist actually looked at the photos of my hair and provided a solution to avoid that outcome! If a real person hadn't reviewed my order and adjusted it based on my hair in the photos I provided, I probably wouldn't have been as happy with how my color turned out. The color kit was easy to use and my hair color looks beautiful, rich, and natural with no greenish tinge. I will say that maintaining brunette color on pre-lightened hair is challenging, especially if you're like me and can't tolerate washing your hair any less than 2-3 times per week. I'd definitely recommend getting some sort of color-depositing conditioner/co-wash, or making your own by adding brown demi-permanent dye to regular conditioner/co-wash. Make sure to saturate your hair with product and leave it on for about 5-7 minutes before rinsing. eSalon is a great option for folks who want custom color but don't want to pay $75+ at the salon every 4-6 weeks to maintain it. For reference, I'm a 30-year-old woman with no grays yet. My hair is thick, slightly wavy, on the finer side, and is pretty healthy since it's only been lightened once and I rarely heat-style it.

I had been going back and forth for months deciding if I was going to order, I finally did and I have to say I am in love, with the attention to detail, the presentation of the product and the results achieved. The whole process made me feel like a valued customer, I'm a sucker for little additional perks and the fact the product is personalised is such a perfect and personal addition its beautiful. Instructions are clear, two sets of gloves, a stain guard and remover which I've never received with any other dye. Absolutely stunning X (the shampoo and conditioner sachet smell amazing and my hair felt soo soft afterwards)

I have super short hair so it was easy to apply. It covered all my grown out hair and I ended up with a rich color! Take time to get everything set up before you begin. I loved the little sticker that they sent to put your instructions on the mirror. It’s the little things ! Color was exactly right !
