My first time coloring with eSalon. Not only am I pleased with the color and condition, but the eSalon person (Mindy) who assisted me was fantastic. My hair is probably 75% gray/white naturally, but I needed to perk myself up. I had a stroke some months back and have lost tremendous amounts of hair. Trauma seems to do that to me. The directions were very clear and easy to follow. I was nervous because I had kept it "platinum" for several years because of all the white - until the stroke. I wanted to get close to my "natural" color -- a medium blonde with a definite reddish cast. I love it. Lots of fringe coming back in after the trauma, thankfully. I plan to stay with this color because it feels so much better than platinum -- and it's so shiny! Thank you!

Very happy! Color came on time. Easy to use no bad smells! The color came out great! Shiny and covered all my gray! The team responded quickly to make sure that I was happy with the color and if I needed any adjustments made to next order!

I just used my new color that was shipped in July. I’ve been using this color for seven years. They changed a few things and it is better than its ever been. Applying the product is better. They changed the bottle and it’s not runny anymore. The shampoo is better. Years ago it was like this. I thought maybe now because my hair was longer the shampoo wasn’t enough so I always had to use my own. No, whatever this shampoo is it’s enough and it’s excellent, just like years ago. The color washes out really well. (At one point I had a big problem with this color not washing out and I almost stopped buying it. They gave me some tips that worked ok. But this is better!) There seems to be less of a strong chemical smell which is nice. And last but most important, the color is awesome. I have very long hair and I am all gray under this color and no one knows unless I tell them. So it’s always been good coverage. But this color is richer and shinier. I love it!! Also now I think you get one free every so often so that will be nice because the price went up two dollars. I am SO happy with this new product. Please don’t change anything!! I did not receive anything in exchange for this review. I think that’s important to know. I just woke up this morning and looked at the color and thought that I need to say something.

I love that there are so many different options. I can stay basically brown but add a little flair when I want. I also appreciate the quality of everything. The gloves are flimsy. They hair color looks creamy and the shampoo and conditioner feel great. Love it!

The Colorist blended three shades for the exact shade! The quality of the products rivals my salon’s and definitely lasts longer. Customer service is stellar and made sure I was satisfied when a formula adjustment was requested. Such a relief during the healthcare crisis.

Ich war sehr skeptisch und nach einer persönlichen telefonischen Beratung, habe ich dann 2Tage später mein erstes Color Set in den Händen gehalten.
Immer noch skeptisch machte ich mich ans Werk. Die Bedienungsanleitung exakt befolgend, war ich sehr überrascht wie dunkel meine Haare im nassen Zustand wurden, sodass ich die Einwirkzeit um 5Minuten verkürzte. Alle anderen Schritte führte ich wie beschrieben aus.
Die zweite Flasche brauchte ich nicht mehr, denn nach der Ansatzfärbung hatte ich noch genug über, um es in die Länge zu verteilen. Nach dem Trocknen der Haare, hatte ich genau das Ergebniss was ich mir erhofft hatte.
Die Haare fühlen sich einfach toll an, haben einen schönen Glanz und ich hoffe sehr, dass dieser Zustand noch lange anhält.

I had used store bought boxed dye during quarantine which absolutely destroyed my hair not to mention was way off from desired color. I worked with the colorist here who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in restoring my hair back to the rich multi dimensional color it was. My hair also came out feeling much softer. I also love the shampoo and conditioner included. Results are comparable to when I spend $200+ at my salon. No more salon for me. I’ve received so many compliments and have even helped family members set up orders as well. Thank you esalon!

I was hesitant about doing my coloring at home, but because of the pandemic have not gone to the salon. I watched a ton of videos and read a lot, finally finding eSalon through one of the videos. There were step-by-step instructions and I decided to try. I did send a photo and I am so glad I did. My color was dull and my hair long, so a second bottle was included which did pop the color a bit more. I had a lot of gray in the front, not much in the back and the color took care of that. Make sure you read all the instructions and watch the videos. They were extremely helpful. I used the brush technique on the roots, and the bottle for the second color which went all the way to the ends. Also, do a swatch test before the first time. I was pleased but I wanted to make sure the color was close to what I had. I will definitely do this again!

This is by far the best home color system I have tried. The smell is minimal and the shampoo and conditioner is lovely. Easy to follow and it covers all my gray.

I’ve been using esalon hair color for a few years and never plan to change! The color works great at coloring all my greys. My colorist has picked just the right color for me and it never varies in color like box colors do. It also leaves my hair healthy and full of body! Love it!

So I have colored my hair a lot over my lifetime. In salon, at home with box and semi-professional colors. This color was great. So convenient that it comes right to the house on auto-ship so I don't have to worry about running about of supplies and scrambling to go to the store. I will leave another review later to see how the color lasts. But so far so good!
Color lasts 3-4 weeks and maintains it's color and tone throughout that time!

I can't begin to tell you how much eSalon has changed my life. My appearance is important and with Covid shutting down hair salons my hair was pretty bad.
Each shipment I am eager to apply and love the 1 hour transformation.

Was worried it would be too dark & one dimensional. This was easy to apply, great colour, has lasted well (3 weeks in) and faded beautifully to a tonal range I love. Reordering.

I have never coloured my hair myself before but due to lockdown found I couldnt live with my grey roots any longer.
I found the instructions easy to follow. Everything you need is included in the kit and the whole process took around 30 mins
I was extremely pleased with the colour that was made for me and the condition of my hair after applying it.

My first shipment was too light and all it took was to let you know that I needed more burgandy. I just love, love, love my color and it is just so handy to receive my color on a timely basis.

The color they matched is my exact color! I’m so happy with the results and compared to other brands out there, the packaging has leas instructions. Originally bought because I’m starting to have grays and have neglected it for a year because of how much work dying can be. I should have done this months ago!!

Overall is a great har color kit, instructions are clear, and if you don't understand something you can always check out their "how-to" videos for more information. I was expecting a lighter color from what I chose but ill give it a 2nd try.

My customized color is perfect, thanks to my colorist who took the time to make sure it was just what I wanted. I never knew there was another option to get salon quality color, but this is the way to go. Saving quite a bit of money too!

Overall i feel like ordering from e salon was the best choice I’ve made in awhile! My hair color didn’t end up exactly as I thought it would but the color is still pretty. My hair is softer and more manageable than before and the easy to understand instructions really helped me nail this at home hair coloring. And when I told my Estylist that the color wasn’t quite what I expected they offered to help me fix it for free. I’m in love with this company and look forward to more hair coloring adventures to come!

Friend told me about salon during quarantine. It’s easier than I could have imagined. I’ve been a salon person for many years and when I couldn’t get out I thought I’d give this a try. My hair feels great looks great and I learn as I go by watching the videos and following instructions. Very happy

I love the customization of the color. I've always gotten may hair done in a salon for hundreds of dollars every 6 weeks. Was fearing this idea, but the customer service allowed me to make changes each month until I got my shade just right. :)

After giving feedback to the colorist, and tweeking twice, I have to say the color is perfect! I have very thick hair, and often use more color than average, but this kit never runs short. My friends can't believe I do it myself. I am really impressed with this set, and the communication with the colorist has been really helpful.
