This was my first time using eSalon and WOW!! The color is perfect. The only reason I color my hair is to cover the gray. It is about as close to my natural color as I've been able to get. It's beautiful. I may never go back to a salon!

I knew after using this product that we had done a really good thing. I am so glad that I chose to do this! The color is not too dark, nor has it dulled at all. Now that's amazing. I was a little skeptical to try to do a color match online but I liked the personal nature of the information provided. The first time came out a bit dark for my preference and I was going to move on but I thought I’d give eSalon a second try and revised the shade and I couldn’t be happier! Perfect, natural looking, soft - you read my mind. I highly recommend eSalon!

I have no idea how many emails went back and forth before this order, but my colorist and I communicated so much and it was worth it. The color came out right! It's a little darker than I expected for a medium blonde, but since it's demi-permanent, it is lightening up a bit. I'm always happy with the helpfulness of the color team and the quality of this color is fantastic! I'm definitely an e-Salon fan!!!

I stopped going to my hairdresser when the pandemic struck. I tried this product on a whim and so glad I did. I have made slight adjustments to the tones and each time I enjoy how it comes out. The color lasts well, the instructions included make application fool proof and most important, the condition of my hair hasn't changed. It's still soft and feels healthy. Thank you! Everything is 100pc loveable about this colour system. I patch tested 48 hours before colouring my hair, expecting some slight stinging at least, as that's what usually happens when I try others brands out. But nothing and I mean NOTHING hurt or stung, before/during/after I coloured my hair
The colour was lovely and rich and very shiny.
Anytime I ask a question of one of the colourists, they get back to me in a reasonable amount of time and I feel I can trust their advice.
I've definitely found my hair colouring happy place!

After speaking w/colorist and readjusting my color, I got my package, used it immediately and the color is a perfect match to the picture I sent. I have to say, the color doesnt fade like most store bought colors do. You'll never see your color running down the drain every shampoo. The color lasts, my hair is shiny & soft. THANK YOU eSalon.

Tweaked my color from the previous color choice. Went from the darkest brown to dark brown color. This is the color I was looking for. Thank you for listening! Other than the delayed mail service (not your fault), All products in the color kit excellent quality. I especially like the rich shampoo. Hair feels and looks fantastic when done.

My boyfriend had never colored hair before and he colors my hair with this product now and it looks great. He doesn’t even really know what he’s doing but it always comes out looking great! I am very happy with the color, with how well it stays in, and how shiny my hair looks. I’m pretty thrilled!

Love this service. The color I originally ordered was reviewed by the Service team. They made a suggestion for a slightly different color based on the photo. It’s perfect and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to paying for an in-house salon color service.

Love your hair color product. Everything was perfect. At first I thought the color was too dark but within a couple of days it settled in and it is perfect. Plus my hair feels and looks the best it's been in a long time.

I just did my 2nd coloring and have had a good experience. The first (light ash brown) turned out more red than I had wanted - I contacted the colorist and she adjusted the color for me and gave me personalized instructions for this 2nd go. I just did it and it's turned out much better, much less red, and I'm pleased with it. The instructional videos are very helpful also. I'm still a newbie so I'm hoping I will get quicker and better as time goes on. Coloring is MUCH better looking than any box that I've done in the past.

Really love this coloring. Haven't yet found the right match, but that is o.k., because I will by being able to tailor the color, instead of box where you have one degree or another degree. At ESalon I can change my hair with no notice of it. Awesome.
And my hair is always softer after.

My recent order was the best yet. After applying the custom hair color and waiting the 40 minutes, I washed out the color and applied the shampoo and conditioner (which are better than ever). And I'm just thrilled with my hair. No gray hair at all! Couldn't be happier!

The color was just perfect. I have waist length hair and I was able to use the one bottle to cover my hair even though my hair had grown out nearly 4 inches since my last coloring. I usually don't color my hair during winter months to give my hair a break and the ammonia smell is a bit strong. In warmer weather, I'll go outside while waiting the time out. I'm in the country and I haven't heard my chickens complain about the way I look when coloring. I just wear a hat if going out in winter when not coloring.
Oh, the ammonia smell is a bit overwhelming. Is there something that can be done so it's not so over powering?

Evidently, I have what is known in the biz as "Stubborn Grays." I tried two other coloring services and could not get my grays covered even leaving the color on for twice the recommended time. Esalon does cover the grays and the color stays pretty for the six weeks between my colorings.

The Custom Color created for me is spot on and was easy to apply. The color has a very natural shine, and the ammonia smell was not overpowering. After using the shampoo and conditioner my hair was and still is soft. So far my hair doesn’t feel damaged.

I liked the fact that I have a colorist assigned. The communication has been excellent, she asked me for the color I would like to have. I told her that the ammonia makes my scalp burns, . She switched it for a demi-permanent color. I applied it today and I really loved it. Let's see how longer it lasts. Service and support are awesome 👌.

I love the customizing, with the assurance that your getting the right color for best results for you specifically. The instructions had a pro tip that I had never done, but it is genius! Great coverage. My hair did turn out a little darker then I had hoped. But I know it had to be to cover the red dye in my hair that wouldn’t bleach out. And because it was recently beached it soaked up all the dye. I had just enough dye to cover my hair with about a table spoon left over. I have already discussed with my e-stylist that we are gonna use a little lighter of a color for round two, and they have changed my formula. Getting ready to order #2!
